Mommy Moments - Summer Outings

Hey guys! it's TGIF again. This friday's Mommy Moments theme is Summer outings. Last summer my sister and her hubby who is a pilot of South West Airlines gave us a free ticket to Vegas. That was our first outing ever as a family. We always inside our little dungeon, we go out for a walk around the neigborhood or park sometimes. Here are the photos.
Jake never been to a beach so consider this as his beach tub whoaaaaa! their kitchen sink.
This was in Roover Dam parking area, I think jake wasn't happy in this photo coz it was too hot and most of his time were spent in the car seat.

1. Do you exercise full or minimal control over your child’s / children’s behavior?For now my baby jake still one year old and he hasn't understand yet what is right and wrong, so we are doing the minimal control for him to understand that there are certain rules need to be follow.

2. Do you expect your child / children to obey 100% or let her / him / them do what pleases her / him / them?No, I don't expect him to obey 100% but we are always there to guide him and teach him what's good or bad so that he will grow to be a good boy and be on the right track or path in life.

3. Do you welcome discussion or you simply set rules? Setting a rules I think is very important but we are open to any discussions.

4. Do you reprimand?Yes.

5. Do you use spanking for punishment?For now I'm trying to avoid spanking, maybe a time out would do.

6. Do you use some kind of a reward System for motivation?Yes, but not all the time. he is still a baby.

7. Do you enjoy being a Parent?Of course, who doesn't! This is the life I chose and I love being a parent it is so rewarding and fulfilling.

8. Are you a hands-on Parent or do you have a full-time Nanny?I am a hands-on parent. It's our best interest to ensure the safety of our baby and My babger doesn't want me to work for now and besides so expenssive to get a nanny and hard to trust someone we don't know.

9. At what age would you let your child make simple decisions for himself / herself?Now! I think at their young age they are making simple decisions already. It helps them to be independent and self reliant

10.Do you and your Husband have the same Parenting Style?Nope. We grow up in different generation and raised in different culture, race, religion and lifestyle but we do respect each others when it comes to parenting style. We both want and looking for the best of our kids.

9. What has been your typical sleeping attire since you got married?nothing change short if summer, since they have 4 seasons here pj, sweat shirt and socks during winter.

10. How do you show how appreciative you are of your Husband?I thank him and say the magic 3 words ahem! I give him rub and massage yo.

11. What do you do when your Husband annoys you?I gave him a look or sometimes yelled at him.

12. You are buying or planning to buy your first house as Husband and Wife….Yes, we are planning to buy a house maybe 2 to 3 years from now.

13. How does your house look like at the end of the day when Hubby gets home? Well, weekdays so messy with jake toys, torn papers, books,pillow all over the place. weekends hubby's home but laundry all over the place and more toys coz he helps jake pulling out those toys in his toychest.

14. How do you feel about running a household?Idon't know, Like a Maid lol! :D

15. What is the sweetest gift you have given your Husband so far? Hmm I think my body and soul hehehe, His coffee mug and slippers and cards.

Family of Four

We had our first sonogram appointment yesterday afternoon to check on the baby's growth, spinal cords, heart beat, chamber heart stuff like that. It took us almost an hour to got out from that ultrasound room because the baby wasn't cooperating with the nurse. Our baby having some disco party inside my tummy moving a lot, curving the body like a bow and the nurse were having hard time to see the spine. We saw on the monitor what the baby been doing inside during the ultrasound. She raised her arms, stretch her legs and had her cute little feet sticking out. It was so magical to see human beings inside my body. Our family is complete now, 1 boy and 1girl, yes..... friendzzzzz we are going to have a baby girl soon.

Talented 12- year old, Lena

It has been said that each individual has his or her own distinct talent. Such talents include dancing, singing, crafting, atletics, and more. Others, however, haven't realized their hidden talents quite yet and sometimes wind up looking for a talent inside of themselves that isn't there. A good (and funny) example of this is the television show American Idol. Some of the contestants in the preliminary rounds have zero talent when it comes to singing. It's not that don't have talent (of course they do?), it's just that their talent in life obviously isn't singing. As I was browsing the MySpace site this morning, I came accross this 12-year old girl, named Lena, who has this totally amazing voice. She can really sing, and that's the talent that I am talking about. At her young age, she possesses this beautiful and amazing voice that a lot of girls her age would love to have. In my opinion, she has a stronger and better voice than Hannah Montana and Taylor Swift, and she is younger than both of them. Born and raised in southern California, Lena has been singing for as long as she can remember. At age 7, she sang the National Anthem in front of a huge audience and got rave reviews. Do you want to listen to her sing? Well then check out Lena's myspace page. She has recorded outstanding covers of popular hits and recently began writing her own music. As a twelve year old vocalist, Lena just released her first original composition "Framed", which she wrote in collaboration with Kosta Lois, a veteran Hollywood music composer and producer. It's a Hole!!!

Yesterday when I was busy fixing my little monster lunch, he happen to go to the bathroom and try to touch stuff there that he shouldn't be touching. This is what he found out. A hole in the wall, he is wrecking the place now. This crappy place has this wood taped on the wall to cover this big hole that connects to the bathtub. A couple of months ago we called a maintenance for this apartment because the bathtub had cloged up and all those dirt from the kitchen drainage went there. He didn't replace the tape so when this little monster did his exploring he pulled this tape off and the whole cover came off. It's very dangerous for him coz when I saw the wood there's two big nail sticking out. Jake become a handful now, I have to watched him like a hawk, he picked up things we do not know where he finds it and try to go to the bathroom and touch everything in there.

17. A doctor in the PI told me 5 years ago i had an Indometriosis and can't bear a child that made me alarmed and panic to get married at the age of 30 lol.Jake is the proof that she's wrong.

20. I love seafoods,asian food, basically all foods that taste yummy to me.
