Ride Manta at Sea World

I like it when my husband talks about going to the amusement parks when he was a kid. He talks about the first time that he rode on a roller coaster as if it were just yesterday. It does sound like a lot of fun to me. Maybe I can talk him into taking the family to Sea World for a vacation someday. Sea World offers fun for everyone in the family, and they are home to the newest roller coaster attraction. Right now at Sea World, you can experience the thrill of a lifetime by riding on Manta, the only flying roller coaster in the world of its kind. On Manta, you will enjoy getting close to various types of sea life including tropical fish and rays as well as a huge Pacific octopus. Also right now, you can win a front of the line pass for Manta by going to their site and participating in six activities. These six activities include taking a Manta quiz, filling your row of friends that will ride with you on Manta, uploading a picture to Flickr with "I heart Manta", submitting a video to youtube with you talking about how excited you are to ride Manta, making a Manta mask, and writing to shamu on Twitter. These only take minutes, and then you can win that front of the line pass. You should all start planning your Sea Word vacation now, and get ready for the ride of a lifetime on Manta.

Mommy Moments - Hair Cut

mommy moments

Ohh yeah!!! T.G.I.F!:-) Mommy Moments time, this week theme is "Haircut". I've seen other mommy moments entries they brought their kids to a barber shop for a haircut. I wish I can do the same, but my Jake still too young and he always grabbed the comb and scissors and turned his head around when I cut his hair. To avoid any embarrassment and unpleasant situation at the barber shop, I cut Jake's hair. I am the responsible for this crooked cut and not straight. After his first birthday i gave him his first haircut and I thought it came out pretty well whohaha!!! Then just recently I trimmed again his hair and still not straight hehehe, good thing my baby doesn't know how to talk and complain yet or else I'm in trouble.:->

This is Jake's new hair looks right now, both sides and the back of his hairs are not straight.

This was the second time I cut his hair, I had to let him play with the radio and gave him toys to play with during the haircut. I did not finish the haircut coz he started crying, grabbing the scissors and comb.

This was his first hair cut look like, it was so obvious that the bangs were crooked and too short.

Have a happy weekend to all! just click the button on top to join the mommy moments.

Get Rid of Dark Baggy Eye Circles

Is there a point in your life that you feel and look so awful because of the wrinkles, acne and dark eye bags? I experience that one time when I was still working at the fast food chain and I did not get much sleep. I worked overtime, took the closing schedules and hang out with my friends late at night. I turned the night into day and vice versa. I slept in the morning and up all night. My friends said I look awful with those dark baggy eye circles like I never sleep at all plus the big pimples that looked so gross on my forehead. And the bad thing about those pimples when they get healed the dark spot or scar stayed there. I used different soap and cleansing to help gets rid of the pimples, wrinkles, and dark eye bags. I do not know any beauty products so, I used any cream to put on my face but still no work. Sometimes we experiment on things like products for our face and skin and ended looking worst. What we need for our dark baggy eye circle is the best eye cream that works effectively to our skin. For those ladies out there who do not have any idea on how to get rid of your puffy bags under your eyes go to www.eyecreamreview.net they review the best eye cream that would help you get an idea of how to clear up that dark circle under your eyes. They reviewed the eye cream that they make called Lighten and Brighten. Just take a look at the reviews and comments that some readers submitted, and also the input created by their staff to make sure you are on the right track before buying Murad.

Bad Buckaroo

Today our little buckaroo has been acting really badly, as in like a monster. Since this morning as he got up from bed he was already fussing and kicking because he didn't want to get up yet, but the sun at 11:00 O clock in our room shines so bright. At noon was gonna take him outside to tire him and go for a nap quickly but my tummy is getting sore from carrying him the whole day and the weather in the late afternoon was unpredictable. So as usual he faked his nap today and always messing up with the dried paint in our wall, the lid of his diaper trash, and keyboards of our computer. When I gave him a bath earlier before putting him to bed Jake throw a fit in the bath tub. I have to hold him tight so that he won't slip in the tub. And then after that I have to chased him to put his diaper on and do you know what our lil' monster did, he peed on the carpet. What a mess!!! Right now as my babger watching his basketball, the buckaroo woke up and screamed so babger had to get him from his crib. While they were setting on the couch he tried to poke his dada's eye, whatever no..no..no. he just laughed and kept on doing it, so back to the crib he goes. While I was doing this post he still crying in his crib, waiting for us to pick him up. We know he is not gonna go back to sleep by himself in the crib. He stills sleeping with us, even if we put him to bed at 7;00 or 8;00, this little monster seems like has his own timer, he always gets up around 10:00 and sleep with us in our bed. I hope tomorrow he will be back from being a good baby and not act as bad like he was today. I wonder how would you discipline your kids when they act badly or not nice?

Home Security

One of the most important things you can do to protect yourself and your family from harm is to have proper home security. We enjoy the security of a secure building with bars on the windows. My mother-in-law's next door neighbors have a watch dog for their security, but the dog bit the mailman on the arm. Sometimes it is hard to know if you have proper protection or not. A wireless security system from Protect America would definitely be an upgrade from what most people have right now. Protect America offers system monitoring in their packages. My house, your house, and everyone's house could use their products. They offer the best security available for very affordable prices. One of their packages that I happen to like that would work well in my home is their Copper Package. For a very low monthly rate you get a talking control panel, a motion detector, three entry points, internal siren, door chime, battery backup, one button arming, three window decals, and one yard sign. Put all of that together with monitoring, and that is what I call protection. You can call Protect America toll free at 877-470-2751. When you call this number, you get 2 free remote chains with your security system order. Protect yourself today with Protect America.

Affordable Ham

Is anyone out there into ham? I like ham eversince I was a kid, but Babger when he was a kid, he really didn’t like it, but as an adult, he have developed a genuine appreciation for it. I have different way of cooking the ham, I don't baked them like what they used to do here, instead I fry them and babger like it that way. With our family budget being a little smaller these days, we have been looking for ways to cut down on our grocery bill. Well, there is my new found appreciation for ham. You can go to your local grocery store and get a big ham for fewer than thirteen dollars. We bring it home and cut it in half, put half in the freezer, and then the half we keep in the refrigerator lasts us for about 2 weeks! Then we’ll change it up for a few days, and then we defrost the other half. All together, we eat for almost a month on that ham. Sure, sometimes we are kind of sick of it, but with the money we save, we can afford to eat at Wendy’s once or twice in between the ham fests. I’m not suggesting that you change your diet to one that only includes ham, but I am suggesting that it is a cheap way to get your family fed. Happy shopping!

Five - Day Weekend

Here are more pictures of our five - day weekend. My sister got here Thursday and Jake was so comfortable with her. Actually when my sister was here I felt like I had a long days off from Jake because he always hanging out with her. We also had a lot of time outside, went to the library, to the store, drive around, walk to the playground and picnic at the park. Jake was so lonely when my sister left. We took her to the airport on Sunday and when we got home Jake was so quiet, and he was just sitting in the corner listening some music. Poor lil' monster he missed his playmate. She will be back this August when its time for my delivery. Yesterday, I spent whole day cleaning and vacuuming the carpet it was so filthy. And our laundries were humongous, waving at us looking for attention waaaaa. That was a long weekend but neither of us touched those laundry baskets. Hubby will take care of it next week since our laundry machine in this apartment still broken as usual. I do the ironing and folding. Hope you guys had a great weekend and fun Memorial Day.

Those Pesky Mosquitos!

The summer is here, and it is time to have fun in your backyard. You can do that gardening, or you can just lounge around on your lawn furniture. My 28 Weeks Pregnancy

I am now 28 weeks pregnant - 80 days to go and this little girl ready to pop out. Her kicks and movement are getting stronger, especially late at night and am having hard time to sleep. In the morning, I feel the cramps in my legs and in my lower abdomen and thigh. My tummy is getting bigger and heavier of course, and I'm getting lazier to move around and do chores.

Read more about this week pregnancy
By this week, your baby weighs two and a quarter pounds (like a Chinese cabbage) and measures 14.8 inches from the top of her head to her heels. She can blink her eyes, which now sport lashes. With her eyesight developing, she may be able to see the light that filters in through your womb. This movement is more of a reflexive blink than a deliberate opening and closing, but it won't be long before she's batting those beauties at you. She's also developing billions of neurons in her brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world.
For those Prego out there more information you might want to know about your pregnancy this week

Your Body This Week

Restless legs and third-trimester prenatal visits

At this point, you'll likely visit your doctor or midwife every two weeks. Then, at 36 weeks, you'll switch to weekly visits. Depending on your risk factors, your practitioner may recommend repeating blood tests for HIV and syphilis now, as well as doing cultures for chlamydia and gonorrhea, to be certain of your status before delivery. Also, if your glucose screening test result was high and you haven't yet had follow-up testing, you'll soon be given the 3-hour glucose tolerance test. And if the blood work done at your first prenatal visit showed that you're Rh negative, you'll get an injection of Rh immunoglobulin to prevent your body from developing antibodies that could attack your baby's blood. (If your baby is Rh positive, you'll receive another shot of Rh immunoglobulin after you give birth.)
Around this time, some women feel an unpleasant burning or tingling in their lower legs and an irresistible urge to move them while trying to relax or sleep. If this sensation is at least temporarily relieved when you move, you may have what's known as restless legs syndrome (RLS). No one knows for sure what causes RLS, but it's relatively common among expectant mothers.
Explained Why am I supposed to sleep on my left side?
There's no harm in sleeping on your right side, but lying on your left side or tilted to the left is the best way to ensure proper circulation. It takes all the pressure off of the vena cava — the vein that returns blood from your lower body to your heart. This vein runs along the right side of your spine and may be compressed by your growing uterus when you sleep on your back. Compression of the vena cava can cause decreased blood flow to the placenta and baby. If you end up flat on your back in the night, don't panic: Women who do suffer from a compressed vena cava will likely unconsciously shift positions in their sleep to take the pressure off the vein, says Dr. Mark Taslimi, a professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto, California.
Comfort Tip
Quieting restless legsSome researchers estimate that up to 20 percent of expectant moms experience an unpleasant "creepy-crawly" sensation in their legs in the last few months of pregnancy. These feelings will likely go away a few weeks after your baby's born. In the meantime, try these tips:
• Cut down on caffeine and avoid antihistamines, which can make your symptoms worse. (Non-sedating antihistamines may be okay.)
• Get a moderate amount of exercise every day. (But avoid overly vigorous exercise, which may aggravate your symptoms.)
• Try stretching or massaging your legs.
• Put hot or cold packs on your legs or take a warm or cool bath.
• Ask your caregiver if you should try iron supplements, which can sometimes relieve RLS.

Asbestos Linked to Cancer

As we make our way through life, there are certain words that we simply never want to hear. Definitely, one of those words is cancer. To many people, having cancer is a death sentence just waiting to be carried out. Although cancer is a matter of genetics, there are things that you can do to minimize your vulnerability. One of the things that you can do to avoid cancer is to avoid contact to asbestos. If you are in the shipbuilding industry, construction, auto mechanics, or demolition, then you should be very aware of possible exposure to asbestos. Asbestos has been linked to a dangerous form of lung cancer called Mesothelioma. This could affect you and your whole family. The dangers of asbestos have been known for a while, but workers were still being exposed to it. If you were exposed to asbestos and have Mesothelioma, then you need a Mesothelioma Lawyer. There is a good chance that you are entitled to some monetary compensation. Many asbestos manufacturers have gone bankrupt recently, and getting your just compensation might not be so easy. Let a professional take care of that for you, and just concentrate on recovering from your illness. The asbestos companies are responsible for your condition! Lets make them pay.

Nurse's Scrubsmag

Nurses are essential to the community, and nursing is one of the most in demand jobs, especially abroad. Doctors cannot do their job without the help of the nurses. Being a nurse is not easy, and yet it’s a very rewarding job. You have to have a heart and dedication to your job and know how to deal with different types of people everyday. I am so thankful of those nurses who helped me during the time I was delivering Jake. I admired the hard work and dedication that our nurses exerted to help their patients. To those nurses out there, student nurses and all, just keep up the good work. Do you know that there is a website which is designed only for nurses, called Scrubsmag.com? This website is the nurse's guide to good living. Check out Scrubs, and read different articles about nursing as a career, and read about their work and their life as well. You can also find great books under the news and entertainment tab which this group of nurses recommends to you. Not just that, but you will also learn of tips from scrubs, such as health tips, money, love, and beauty tips. No matter how busy these nurses are, they have time for fashion and trends that are latest, and they have tips on where to shop and what sale items to buy that will make you look fabulous when you are not on duty. You will find a lot of interesting articles at scrubsmag.

Mexican Food Anyone?...

The other weekend, hubby and I had a cravings for mexican food, so we walk down hill to check out this mexican restaurant in the neighborhood. Look what we got for such an affordable price. The chips were on the house. I've heard a lot of people love mexican foods, now I know why, their foods are so delish. Try it guys!

Mexican cuisine is a style of food that originated in Mexico. Some dishes have a Spanish or Middle Eastern influence. Mexican cuisine is known for its varied flavors, colorful decoration, and variety of spices and ingredients, many of which are native to the country.
Why is Mexican food so popular all over the world? Perhaps it is the way in which meat; vegetables and spices are so cleverly combined to result in delicious yet healthy meals. Alternatively, maybe it is because Mexican food is so inimitable and no other cuisine quite compares. Check out mexican recipes here

Vacation in Branson

If you are looking for a nice family vacation this year, then maybe you should consider going to Branson, MO. It would be exciting to see a new place that has so much to offer. I think that it would be fun to go shopping in some of their local boutiques and maybe take a long break down on the river walk. Missouri is one of the most scenic areas in the country. I have never been there, but my husband was there when he was 21 years old and in Army Basic Training, and he told me about some of the natural beauty. At Branson, you might stay at the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing. Or maybe you would prefer staying at the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel. Right now, the Hilton has a "spring into summer" special that includes rooms starting at $149 per night. A typical day for you and your family might include a late breakfast at the hotel, then witnessing the Father’s Day Salute, driving to one of the many theme parks that are nearby, and then maybe getting to see a late movie. Or maybe you would prefer spend the day golfing. No matter which of those activities you choose, you are sure to have a good time.

What a Day!

How was your day folks? Us was fine. I want to apologize first for not dropping today, my jologs computer missed up again with us. This is the problem having old computer, we really need a new one. Hopefully I can visit your blog tomorrow, I really have to, its a matter of life and death hehehe. Anyhow, our day was okay, we went out for a little walk, chatting with my sisters at YM, I felt bad for my sister though, she had to come home from Dubai because of her medical condition. She was healthy when she left for Dubai and after staying and working their for almost 3 months, her medical result came out like she was positive with Hepatitis, thats why the employer had to sent her home. I really prayed for her recovery and well. However, while chatting with them we also watch the American Idol. Congrats to Kris Allen, the new crowned american idol horray! Well time to retire here, lets just call it a day. I will just bloghop tomorrow, see yah around!
