Busy Moving!
Reading is Fun
I used to take Jake to our local library here for family story time activities for the kids. Aside from reading they also have action songs, rhyming words, lap sit and hands on activities for kids of different ages. As early as possible we should introduce the fun of reading to our kids so that they will appreciate books and grow to love reading. There is a saying. "Read good books for they are the windows to the world". Try this new published book for your kids entitled Chin and the Magic Stones. The book is a fun adventure and a wonderful read for any child who is taking their first steps into the fantasy genre. Your kids would surely like the story of this fantastic adventure book with a boy as the main character. This is different from many fiction books for 7-11 year-old that have girls as leading role characters, so this book gives another unique angle yet. The central message is to communicate core concepts of positive thinking and positive attitudes towards life as a mean to obtain positive results. Reading Chin and the Magic Stones would also be a great activity to do this summer for your kids while enjoying the sun or while on vacation. You can go to www.chinmagic.com and read about the book. Do it for the future of your children.
My Personality
Seiko of Seiko's Diary tagged me with this awesome Personality Test. Some of the result sounds right to me so, here they are guys;
Your view on yourself:
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.
The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.
Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You prefer to get to know a person very well before deciding whether you will commit to the relationship.
The seriousness of your love:
Your have very sensible tactics when approaching the opposite sex. In many ways people find your straightforwardness attractive, so you will find yourself with plenty of dates.
Your views on education
Education is less important than the real world out there, away from the classroom. Deep inside you want to start working, earning money and living on your own.
The right job for you:
You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.
How do you view success:
Success in your career is not the most important thing in life. You are content with what you have and think that being with someone you love is more than spending all of your precious time just working.
What are you most afraid of:
You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It's time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.
Who is your true self:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.
I wanna tag David Funk, tsang Dhemz, Momgen, Cecile, Lulu, Rose etc., Clarissa, Anygen, Melanie, Chay and YOU if you would like to join the fun.
The rules are simple:
1. Open this website: Personality Test
2. Take the Personality Quiz. (It's very short and easy really!)
3. Copy paste the result to your blog.
4. Tag as many friends you can and link to the friend who tagged you!

Cheap Digital Download
July fourth is one of my favorite days of the year. It is summertime, the weather is nice and hot, and everyone likes to take a day out of their lives and have fun and cook out on the grill. This year, we will have a picnic out at our local city park with a few friends. Since that day is coming, many people want to have the perfect music to play during the day. Maybe you would like to have some patriotic sounding music playing in the background while you have that family barbecue. Right now there is a digital album that has all of that music and is available at a great price. On July 3, 2009, Amazon MP3 is offering the MP3 Deal Of The Day with a great price for the digital album A Salute To America. This is 30 patriotic songs for only $1.99. This is a great savings over the normal price. The album is available starting on June 30, and the MP3 Deal Of The Day price of $1.99 is for July 3, 2009. This is another great deal from Amazon. You already know about all of the great deals you can get on books from Amazon, but now you know that you can get great deals on digital downloads like A Salute To America too.

Things To Buy
In a couple of days we will be moving to a new place, and since we only have little space here in our tiny apartment, we do not have it here some of these important things that we will need in our new place. Like the lawn mower, we definitely need this in our backyard plus a grill for BBQ.

The house that we are going to move in soon has a bigger windows than here. We never used curtains here because the windows are just too small for it and we used blinds instead. So, curtains is number 1 in the long list besides the washer and dryer, fence for Jake and a lot more.

Babger already did some shopping yesterday, I stayed home because of my stupid cough. I pulled some muscles last saturday when I coughed too hard and threw out, now my back is so painful as in excruciating pain that cause more wheezing and intense cough. I felt so miserable and didn't get good sleep for couple of nights. However, we need to keep going for the moving and have to finish the packing. I still have the cough now, and my back still in pain. I apologize for not returning your drops this weekend, I'll just make it up when I get better. Thanks for the visit guys, hope you all had a great weekend.

Mommy Moments - School Days

TGIF! ohh yeah and its mommy moments time. My buckaroo still too young for school and we never send him to day care either. So, for this week mommy moments theme " School days" I would like to feature my old grade 5 pupils back at the mountain school when I was still teaching. Im guessing, they're probably in college right now. They were my last batch of kids at the mountain school before I got transferred to the city. I missed my job and be around with these 60 or 70 yamukmuk kids every year hehehehe. Good ol' days!
Imagine these kids would got up at 5:00 in the morning, do their chores and at 6:00 am get ready for school or should I say start walking going to school. We had our flag ceremony at 8:00 am but still some of them arrived late like 9;00 am. They live on the mountain and their only way of transportation is motorcycle (habal-habal). There were 11 teachers in this school, 9 of us were from the city. We stayed in school from Monday thru friday.

I just chatted at YM the other week with one of my 4th grade pupils in the city which is now in 2nd year in high school. Oh boy! Am I that old? grrrrr lol. Aggh! ouch! yikes I'm totally old, sluggish and tired now waaaaaa.
I wish and hope these kids will finish their education and be successful in the future.

Sending Your Kids to Summer Camp
I remember that when I was young, my parents sent me to summer camp a few times during the summer vacation. Summer camp is important for kids. Then meet and learn to get along with other kids from other places. They get to participate in many fun activities, and they learn a little about independence since they are not under the direct control of their parents. No matter where you might live, and if you are looking for them, there are many good Summer Camps close by. We live in Pennsylvania, and there are plenty of summer camps near us. For instance, there is the Mercersburg Academy Summer Programs in Mercersburg, PA. Here there is a program that allows kids to gain in enthusiasm, experience, and work ethic. Also close by is the Canyon Ranch for Teens in Bryn Mawr, PA. There they emphasize physical fitness, and also show you how to live a healthier lifestyle after you go home. Plus, in most rural areas, there are day camps for kids to go to during the day. These can be quite fun for the kids too. My husband's home town in Pennsylvania has day camps every summer for all ages of kids. No matter what type of summer camp your child desires, just make sure that you give them the experience of a lifetime.

Vacations in Branson
When you take your family on a vacation, it seems to bring everybody closer together. There is something good about getting away from your daily life and enjoying the fun with your family. For your next family vacation, maybe you should consider the scenic views of Branson Missouri. You and your family will definitely have a good time if you go there. There are so many things that you can do, and there is plenty of space for you to get away from it all. There are all kinds of shops, boutiques, restaurants, and live theaters. There is also a beautiful river walk, some close by lakes, museums, and theme parks. I am a pushover for little shops, so I would be shopping most of the time if I were there. My husband might be interested in the lakes, hiking, and the museums. I have never been to Missouri, but I am excited to go soon! If you are considering a vacation in Branson, then there are really only two places to consider for lodging. You should stay at either the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing or at the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel. Both of these places offer you that well-known quality lodging of Hilton Hotels. From either of these places, you could experience all the Branson has to offer. You could start your day with a nice breakfast and then finish the morning at the Payne Stewart Golf Course. Then you could catch some live theater at any one of the 49 live entertainment theaters. No matter what you choose to do while you are there, you will have fun. Look into a Branson vacation today, and get your family there soon.Worthington's Blog

Hi folks! Hows your blogging doin? I think mine is doing pretty well, coz I presented here another blog of ours which I created last April when I won a domain and blog hosting from Momgen birthday bash contest. I don't want that domain go to waste, so I opened a new blog. It was in the WP before with the hosting, but I got confuse with the WP thing so I had to forfeit the hosting and transfer my blog to the blogger. I want to thank Momgen of Wonderful Things in Life and Momgen's Design for my new layout. She did thw whole makeover and new look of this blog and I like it. You should take a look some of her blog designs and creativity when it comes to layout tweaking at her Designs blog. Sometimes she give away free layout for the first commenter, so, to go there just click the link above. Anyways, What makes this blog different from my other blog is, its a family blog and me and babger are the author. Worth's Road is a short for our family name Worthington, but we make it shorter to Dubster since our family name begin with W thats where we get the Dub and added the ster (grin). He already wrote few post there, but lately he is been busy with summer class and the stress of moving. Hope to see you there in my other blogs and thanks to all my friends and fellow entrecarders for visiting dropping by at worth's road. Have a Happy Family Weekend to all!

Relaxing in Branson
There is not any better way to tell your family that you love them than taking them on a nice and relaxing vacation. Let everyone get away from all of the daily stress that their life encounters. If you are looking for that perfect little place, then take a look at Branson MI. In Branson, you have many attractions, but at the same time you can get away from it all too. You can browse all of the quaint shops, boutiques, restaurants, and you can go to the river walk for some beautiful scenery and fun. This summer, Branson is hosting the Father’s Day Salute, the National Kid’s Fest at Silver Dollar City, some live theater, and the 10th Annual Clown Jam. I've never been to Missouri, but my husband has. He was there when he was in the army, and he said that it is a very nice looking place. If we did go to Branson, we would definitely stay at either the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing, or the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel. At either of these places, you are right in the middle of everything that Branson has to offer. Even the new Payne Stewart Golf Club, which is managed by Hilton, is close by. If you stay at the Hilton Promenade, you could enjoy their Bed & Breakfast Package where you start your weekend on Thursday and get a great rate. At the Hilton Branson Convention Center, the low summer rates start at $159 per night. I think that I would have to make it to that beautiful Payne Stewart golf course (pictured below) to putt around!

Soaked from the Rain
Hubby and Jake went out for a walk this afternoon, they're gone for like 15 minutes when the rain pours heavily. Luckily, a nice guy saw them under the tree let them in to stay on his porch while the rain still pouring. My buckaroo came home all soaked and wet from the rain and crying coz he was hungry, can't help myself to grab the camera and took some shots on him.

Mommy Moments - That's My Dad

Dada and I are buddies. Even if Dada is always busy at work, he always has time for me. Like today, mommy woke up with a hard cough and leg cramps, so it was Dada who took me to my early Pediatrician visit and consoled me when I had my shots. I feel so secure, loved and protected when I'm on my Dada's strong arms.
Last week Dada watched his fave basketball team and player, the number 8 in my jersey shirt and my Mama took a picture of us. I enjoy imitating everytime Dada says Ohhh Jake! and I would repeat it with Ohh Dada!
My Dada takes me to the playground if Mama busy blogging and lazy sometimes.

Dada and I took a walk at GM neighborhood and introduced me to some of their nice nieghbors there.

I didn't want to take a nap yet, I'm glad Daddy came to the rescue from witch mommy.
Enjoy your Friday folks and Visit other mommy moments here
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY DADDY! and to all the Daddy out there.
