She loves to sing. She loves to dance. She also loves dressing up. She is my little Miss Diva.

I just love how she sings the Jingle bell and twinkle little star. It's jenga bell to her and kwingle kwingle. She picks up the melody of the song so fast but since she is still 2 year old toddler, she can't articulately each words of the lyrics.

Enjoy and have a good laugh. She is here to amuse you in her own cutie diva way.

Brewed Coffee

ABC Wednesday Round 10...

We are now on the letter B this week and I need a Brewed coffee to think what to post.

My sister gave me this i don't know what to call this kind of coffee maker as Christmas gift last 2009 but I don't frequently use it when we brew coffee. My husband would still prefer the simple and ordinary way of making coffee and that is to use a filter cup and filter pour a boiled water to the filter cup with coffee grounds in it.

Last Christmas, my husband's friend gave us a pack of Dark Italian Roast Ground Coffee from Starbucks. I thought of using this coffee maker again for myself because the husband would rather stick to his own brand of coffee and stick to his own ways of brewing his coffee.

Still sicky awee boohooo

I thought I am a mutant that I have superpower and one of the X-men ngek, but I thought wrong. Justine is okay now and Jake still have a little cough and cold. Jake slept all day and went to bed early with me too. He was probably so sick that he couldn't get up to pee in the bathroom. He peed in the couch and said, he did not pee but he is wet. So, if you come by our place do not sit on the couch coz there's pee on it bwahahahaa just a warning. I went to bed very early last night and got up past twelve today. I'm still nursing a bad cough and runny nose plus head ache and sore throat. It's obvious I'm not a mutant, I'm just an old hog.

I think Justine caught a virus that last time we went to the playground inside the mall. She got runny nose and a little cough last Tuesday and got worst this past couple of days. Now, Jake and I got the colds and cough from Justine. I went to bed early last night but did not get enough sleep because J&J were whining with their stuffy nose. I hope this uninvited colds and cough will go away so soon like right NOW!!!! duh

Look who's playing with these toys?

Not the kids but Mommy. J&J were playing with these tiny toys but they don't know how to put theme away. So, I hid these toys from them because I want to play with it. There are not any ordinary toys we want to buy at any toy stores and online toy stores but they're cute collection. The blue smurfs were from Akesha, Dhemz daughter. The two little dogs, I got that from a vending machine. The two princesses, snowwhite and belle, we got that from a friend as Christmas presents to J&J and the two juice and milk bottle are from Justine's baby that I do not know where it is now.

I could have posted right here Jake's toy story toys but I forgot to take picture of all the toy story characters that we have at Jake's toy chest. We even have three different buzz lightyear toys and couple of Woody toys. It's expensive to buy baby toys and toddler toys but we stll have to buy them anyway otherwise you will be dealing with monster kids screaming at the store because mommy and daddy did not buy him toys. Or what if they're going to sue us because we did not buy them toys hehehe, I'm exaggerating yo.

I think it's time to play the fun ABC Wednesday again. I did not finished the round 8 of ABC Wednesday and missed the round 9 too. I've been waiting for ABC round 10 and here we go;

A is for Aggressive, Assertive and Aphrodite soon

She has a mind of her own and she is very aggressive in a lot of things. She doesn't want me to hold her while walking which is very opposite with Jake. She doesn't want to be strapped in a seat belt. She always have arguments to everything. Aggressive and Assertive are just two of the many words (wise,clever,smart,energetic,sneaky,pretty...) I can use to describe my Justine. She is still a toddler but I already seen beauty in her. She will be like an Aphrodite - The Greek goddess of love, and beauty when she grows upo. She is my daughter, my princess so of course I have to be biased *wink*

And oh, add the word Active and Adorable too in the A words collection. Yes, she is certainly active. My adorable little man has his own thing too.

Sibling Rivalry and Fight

Ever wonder how these two fight?

uhmmm...Miss Dragon pinched Dragon Boy.
Pak!!! Dragon boy hit Miss Dragon's head.
Uhmmmmm ...Miss Dragon took a big pinch
Ouuuch...Dragon boy flinched.
Pak! uhmmm ...Dragon boy took a swipe and grabbed the hair.
Well, Miss dragon took a swipe back but did not captured by my camera.
Sooo Dragon boy pushed Miss Dragon and prrrrrrt here comes the referee.
This was a real fight and my son play along with it because he saw me taking picture. In their real fight, he sometimes don't hit back but won't stop pushing her sister either. They always fight. Jake has the tendency to be dominating, authoritative, bossy and no control. When he gets excited he tends to push her sister and said sorry. I discouraged him and told him not to do it because he is hurting his sister but he is still 3 years old and he select the part of the conversation he wants to listen and when they're in the middle of fun he doesn't care if he hurt his sister. I told Justine to fight back. I know it's bad but if I'm siding Justine all the time he might get jealous. He still have issues with sibling rivalry and always gets jealous of the things that Justine have. He is very protective of Justine but he is also mean to her. That is why the girl had learned to fight back and defend herself even if she always got defeated. Parenting is indeed difficult and hard. Share your parenting styles, parenting techniques and parenting tips. How do you handle sibling rivalry? What sort of discipline when your children fights?

Disclaimer: Do not take this seriously, I got everything in control when i captured their fight. I take picture of their fight so that one day I'll show it to them. Got this poinsettia from my MIL when she visited over on Christmas day. I love this plant.

Some mother would probably can relate to this terrible twos and the overloaded No nos. I tried to put this girl to bed but she doesn't wanna go to bed yet. And she is manipulative too. She was using the name of daddy and Jake to get out from her room. She was freaking angry at first so I hurriedly ran and took my camera downstairs and video tape take her. One day when she will be old enough, I'll show her this video. I teased hier a bit because she so cute when she gets mad. That tiny arms crossing in her chest and that tiny finger pointing at me.

Potty Training Struggles...Success!!!

I documented Jake's milestones since pregnancy, birth to toddlerhood. And when Justine came I tried to document both their milestones and even created a blog for them. Anyhow, potty training is one of the important milestones in a toddlers life. I have read different articles that our pediatrician handed over to us during Jake's two year old visit. I also read article online and in toddlers book that are helpful in the potty training process. I sort of oversee the lines that said "Wait for the right time" to start potty train your toddler.

I was in a rush I think that wanted the train to come by as soon as possible. The month before Jake turned three years old i let him sit in the potty and thought why not start potty training him. So, I did. At first I did not see it as stressful as it should be because i'm just preparing Jake for the potty training. But when I see that little progress, i got persuasive and believed that he can be potty trained before he turn three. I was just dreaming and assuming things that never happened. Right after Jake's 3rd birthday and Jake was wearing brief as part of potty training him, (because he likes wearing thomas underwear) he pooped in that underwear and I was so pissed. We call Jake a baby by the book because when it's time to change he just do it voluntarily. Just like when baby's time to craw, walk and more, Jake did that in the right time at his own pace. All that pooping in the potty he did was just part of his plan to get a hold of the little trains as rewards. H stopped pooping in the potty in a regular basis.

Came June, we moved in to a new house and there are three bathrooms in our house. The wooden floor was a bonus that makes the potty training i guess i bit convenient and easy if in case he peed on the floor. Justine was almost two years old when I let her sit in the potty. The first and second try was a success. She pooped quick and so natural but Jake did not.
He refused to sit in the potty since we moved. He didn't want to poop in the pooty and chose to pooped in the diaper only. Every time I put him on the potty, he controlled himself not to poop in it and as soon as i put a new and clean diaper on, poof!! There's the yucky poop. He slept while he was on the potty, he done lots of stupid stuffs and more. I knew that he was ready around that time (June-July) because he sometimes snuck out to changed his diaper. So, what I did was I pinched his butt every time I changed his dirty diaper. At first he just reacted so cool and not minding the pain. I kept doing it all the time that he can't take the pain anymore. He even reported me to his Daddy that mommy has been pinching his tushy but that's my way of pushing him to do his doodie business in the potty not in the diaper. It was sick but hey it works. The rewards did not worked on him anymore but the pinch did. I felt bad every time I pinched his tush but I had to do it because he needed a push.

It was around September i think when he started pooping in the potty and before we knew it he was good at it. He ran to the bathroom if he feel like going and called us to clean his bottom. I was surprise and very proud of him during our trip to Chicago that he pooped and peed in a public restroom. That was amazing. Right there and then we knew that we succeeded the potty training struggles and journey. I forced him to stop wearing diaper by the end of November.

This is one important milestones in Jake's life and the best thing that happened to his toddlerhood in 2011. He is been wearing underwear everyday and in bed at night time. He can do his number 1 and 2 business like a regular human being. This 2012 I wish Justine will follow. That would be awesome!

There are so many women in my neighborhood that stay home, I started wondering if me quitting my job was what was best for my boys. I felt pangs of sadness when I would have to drop them off at daycare every day and I know that from time to time I really miss important stuff because I’m at work. I love them so much and would do anything for them to be happy so my husband and I sat down and ran the numbers and discovered that yes, we were financially able for me to leave work. I was really nervous about being at home at first and all the extra responsibilities that came with it. That first week I was making everyone three square meals a day and looking into TEXAS electricity providers as well as dealing with the fencing guy for the backyard – it felt sort of overwhelming then. But now I’m used to being here and I know my role. I can’t wait for the next few years as a stay at homemom!

Overprotectiveand Snow Angel

Aren't they the sweetest little thing?

The sibling rivalry of course still there. They still fight once in a while and Jake shows jealousy over Justine as well. Other than jealousy, Jake is also over protected on Justine. He panicked and scared if Justine come inside a dark room. Jake is in the age right now of imagining things around like monsters. He saw a Thomas and Friends movie where the trains scared of the monsters and ghost. Anyway, he doesn't want Justine to be eaten by a monster so he had to make sure his little sister is in the safe area where he can see her. We went for a walk on New year's day and he wants to hold Justine. The little Miss allowed him to hold her hand until we reached the trail and the little Miss wanted to explore the woods. As I have said before, this little Miss is stubborn and has a mind of her own. I had to explained to Jake that Justine wants to be free like a bird. The little Miss heard what I said and she agreed , "yes, I wanna be free like a bird" said Justine.

Today, they spent most of they time playing outside and making a snowman. Jake also tried to create a snow angel.

Dinner with Friends and Christmas Ornaments

Jake and I decorated our Christmas tree few days ago. I thought we lost a box of Christmas ornaments but luckily today we found it in one of the cabinet. So, we finished putting some of the ornaments and icicles too.

Greenfield is just a small town in Pittsburgh but they have nice Christmas lights along the street post. A couple friend invited us for dinner and it was a bit dark already at 5:00 in the afternoon. Jake was enthusiastic and fascinated with all the Christmas lights in the neighborhood. I want to thank these two amazing couple/friends who invited us tonight for dinner. Thank you guys for the scrumptious dinner and presents for kids and us.

Smartphones and Christmas Tree

The youngest cell phone user in town. My Santa was feeling generous this year and bought extra Christmas presents for extra nice housewife. Thank you Babe!!! Justine thought the pink smartphone was for her since it was her and Joe who went to T-Mobile to look for new cell phones. Jake and I followed them to T-Mobile shop after we dropped the mail to the post office. I gave to Jake my old Black berry phone and Joe gave to Justine the Samsung phone.

She was pretending texting and calling while walking heading to the store. Joe wanted to get the phone back as he was afraid the little girl might dropped it. Jake gave the phone back to me but this little Miss fought for her cell phone.

Anyway, these are our new toys. Pretty neat eh. I am now have textmate namely, Dhemz, Chloe, sissy and hubz. I can also check facebook now with this cool gadget. I tried to blog but the keyboard is too tiny for my fat finger and takes forever for me to finish. The picture looks clear with this baby, I've been using it taking pictures and sent it to my wall in Facebook. This Christmas tree with Jake putting ornaments on was one of the sample photo.

Lots of our Christmas decorations are missing and we do not know where we put them. I think we left it in the old house when we moved.

Keeping your Toddlers Away from the Toys Section

How would you explain to your kids about when is Christmas and when they supposed to open their presents from Santa?

We were busy shopping for presents since last Thursday. It was Immaculate Conception and since Joe's work place is a catholic so they had holiday. This past few days, Jake was into Santa Claus and the presents he wants from Santa. We've been receiving gifts on the mail and he wanted to open all of it but we had to explain to him that he can only open those presents on Christmas.

It was exhausting explaining to a 3 year old about when is Christmas and Santa coming. Every time we explained that to him, he ended up on time out because he doesn't want to accept the fact that he cannot open the present right away.

At the Toy's R Us, before we went inside we explained to Jake and Justine that we will just looking around. He saw his favorite toys and was itching to grabbed one of them. Justine wanted to try the race car display and did not want to leave that area. They both did not want to leave the store without something in their hand so I opted to buy the $2 toys for each of them and went outside. Joe was inside the store paying for the toys but we don't want them to see what we got for them so we stayed in play area and spent all my quarters with this machine.

They switch turns riding in this elephant ride. While Jake was waiting he was also playing with this grab and go machine. We grabbed Santa only and spent 10 quarters because it was .50 cents each 20 second or minute game. I'm not sure how many second that machine would last but seems like it was so quick. I spent most of my quarters too in that Elephant ride because Justine was so quick in asking quarters to put in.

Right now I am using Santa to explain about the Toys. I will tell Jake that Santa will put the toys under the tree and he had to sleep lots of nytnyt before Santa gets here. Every now and then he would try to ask where are the presents and thanks to this Santa stuff toy because explaining to him makes it a little bit easier.

Feeling Blue…or Grey

Over the years I have found that I have less and less time to watch TV. I am sure doctors and therapists alike would argue that this is probably a good thing. From a medical perspective, I am lessening my risk of heart attack, stroke, and obesity by lessening my TV intake. One could argue that instead of watching TV, I have found the time to explore hidden talents, exercise, or even read a book. The reality of it is that instead of settling in for a nice, relaxing evening in front of the tube, I am engrossed in packing school lunches, doing laundry, and sweeping up endless piles of dog hair. When I get a few measly moments to “plug in,” I skim back through the DVR on my Direct TV Thornton and catch up on the latest episode(s) of “Grey’s Anatomy.” In some small back section of my mind, I think I have secretly dreamed of being a doctor. The thrill of being so smart as to diagnose a human and potentially fix a medical issue or problem has an almost god-like control that is so appealing to the Type-A personalities like me. So, to quench that desire, I morph into the characters of “Seattle Grace,” and escape to the roller-coaster of emotions that the show offers. I triumph with Meredith as she channels the knowledge of her mother, the great Dr. Ellis Grey, through her career’s journals in an attempt to solve a problem during a clinical trial. I digest the expectation of perfection that Christina Yang hold herself to with each passing surgery and patient-crisis. What I never anticipate though is the sadness that the show evokes when a surgery fails, a patient loses a battle, or a relationship ends. This show challenges me to face my own fears and shortcomings by thrusting me into the plot and into the lives of the characters week after week. It’s not a bad way to take a break from laundry.

Fireworks at Greenfield and Santa

I do not know what's the occasion last night when all of a sudden a loud noise of fireworks banging around Greenfield area. Joe and I were in front of the computer when we heard it and looked at each other wondering. But the fireworks lasted for minutes I guess so we went outside and stayed at the front porch watching the fireworks. Our neighbor across the street told Joe that there will be a parade after the fireworks. So we rushed inside and dressed the kids up so we can watch the parade. We able to watched the last part of the parade with the majorette and Santa on a sleigh. Jake's eyes were all sparkled with excitement when he saw Santa. During our trip to Chicago, he had been wanting to see Santa and been asking us to go to the mall to see Santa. He believes in Santa Claus and keep saying that he wants to ask Santa for Bash, dash, and Ferdinand plus Fred, Annie and Claribel. These are all little engine character in Thomas and Friends. The little Miss also wants to ask Santa Claus for Barney, Painting and brush too.

Anyway, it was last night we learned that every first Friday of December, the community will light the tree and light some fireworks and parade afterward. Now we know, we hope next year we can watch the whole thing.

Mommy Moments - My Growing Bundles of Joy

Lately, I have been watching baby videos of Jake and Justine and thought how did they grow that fast. As they grow, we thought that lessens our job of watching after them but it won't because you have to watch them like a hawk actually as they get into lots of trouble especially at quiet time and be extra careful with every single words you say to them.

I have been noticing and observing these two with the discipline we applied to them. Of course kids learns from the things they see and hear around them. My husband and I are both new parents and we both have temper as well. We all know that parenting is not as easy as we thought and don't have a parenting manual that we could use in raising our kids. Jake and Justine have been using all the words that they heard from us in a random situation and don't even fit in it. Example is put them on time, spank them, and some other courtesy words. But every time they say something that sounded like me, it cracks me up. I think it was couple of days I guess when I was in our room and Jake said, "I'm gonna out you on time out" and I said Ok. he put me on time out because he asked something but I was not paying attention and so busy making the bed up. That line is a very popular line that he heard from us when he and Justine are misbehaving. This is how kids think, they thought they can put their parents on time out too and doesn't get the idea yet that they did bad and had to be on time out and only parents can put them on time out too.

Well, I had this little game also that puts me off guard. I'm a stay at home mom, and I watch the kids 24 hours 7 days a week. Sometimes, I get tired of hearing the word Mommy and Mama from Jake and Justine because they are just not stop demanding bout things and even if their father is already home, they won't ask him. They would say, I want to ask mommy!!! fine!!! I was in the bathroom Jake knocked the door asking me to open it and I was tired. He kept screaming outside Mommy, mommy, open the door, so I said. "Mommy is not here", and he said Sheila open the door," so I said, Sheila is not here either. So he asked in an innocent tone like, What is your name? I did not answer because I do not know what to say. If I say something he will be using it.

We taught them our names so they know what their parents name are. Jake and Justine were playing with us yesterday calling us by our first name. Jake had been telling me like "Your name is Sheila, you are not Mommy, Your name is Joe not Daddy" Well, he is a smart kid and he is just teasing us. I don't get affected with it but Joe was already annoyed because he doesn't want his kids call him by his first name. It gotten worst because Justine was also following Jake but instead of using the mommy and daddy, she just called us with our first name like, Sheila! Joe. Then she approached her Daddy and said Joe. I was smiling because it sounded so funny when calling us by our first name from a two year old kid. But she almost got spanked because when she approached her daddy and yell Joe! Joe! she also took a swipe on Joe while he was in his computer watching the game.

Am glad she stopped when I said, sweetie stop it. I explained it's daddy Joe and mommy Sheila. And the silly game was over. Do you have the same or similar experience in dealing with your little tots?

Our Thanksgiving Getaway

My SIL invited us for Thanksgiving this year, and we said yes. We left Monday afternoon and spent the night at MIL's place.

Tuesday morning we left early at 8 in the morning heading to Chicago. It was a long drive (9 hours more or less) with heavy rains and crying little MIss in the car. We made three stops to stretch up and use the bathroom. I was proud of Jake because in those stops he realy did his thing like pooping and peeing like a big boy. He potty at the public bathroom and peed standing up as well.

Anyway, we arrived in Chicago at around 5:00. The next day we went to their playground for the kids to enjoy and walked going to the Museum of Science and Industry.

Had our Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday and Friday we headed back home and arrived in Slippery Rock around 6:00 in the evening drove another hour going back to Pittsburgh. Glad we survived with Justine magical scream and whines.

Adgitize. Do you still find it effective in bringing traffic to you website? After 100 years of taking a break from adgitizing my blog, I finally made a comeback. Sounds like big time movies huh. I signed up some of my new blogs as I need lovely visitors. Part of the reason was to drive traffic to lower my Alexa rank. I also renewed this blog as the main site listed in the system.

Advertising. Are you satisfied with the traffic brought to your blog by advertising? My answer is no. After the closing of other advertising site most of my blogs Alexa rank went up so fast like rocket. I paid $14 in advertising my blog and $8 to the second and third blog added to the list. I expect lower number in my Alexa but instead it went up like i said. I this number is converted into dolyares, i would be the richest blogger on earth right now.

The Alexa Rank of this blog was over 500k and after a week in adgitize it went up to 600kplus. Right now it is still in 600kplus sometime 500kPLUS. My other blogs also that I advertise in adgitize not showing any progress at all. It looks like I won't get any return from that investment. I do not know about other advertiser but this is just my observation.

My Toddlers Over Used Vocabulary and Manipulative Phrase

Toddler have vocabulary of about 350 words or more and out of that numbers the NO and MIne are the most popular ones. Some of the many words that my J&J used all the time are these words below.

Me: Jake, put away your toys please?
Jake: No! Bye bye FNE!

How did he come up with that answer? Well, he combine everything he learned and heard. Since the little Miss is the master imitator and a copycat too.

Me: Justine put your bottle milk in the kitchen.
Justine: NO! In the table
Me: In the kitchen please sweetie
Justine: In the table, FINE! Bye bye!

These two also have their own annoying and funny cute conversation.

Jake: Justine are you happy?

Justine: No! I'm sad

Jake: No you're happy say yes?!

Justine: No, I'm sad, im crying

Jake: You're happy Uhmm!! (blagg) say Yes!

Justine: Yes, I'm happy

If only i could turn back time, I wouldn't introduced spanking to this little man, and now his hand is so light to spank the little Miss even if we stopped spanking him already. But spanking is part of the discipline. Parenting is very hard huh.

They also have this sweet side and phrases which most of the time they used to manipulate us. It's just too cute and sweet and definitely melt your hear when they start showering your with I love you, mommy, I love you daddy, sorry, give me hug, give me kiss, and so on and so forth. After the sweet moment, they will start asking something that you know you don't want to give and you already warned them that they can have it. And if you don't give it to them then another round of tantrums, fit and NO! FINE!

At the end of the day another I love you, nytnyt, give me hug and kiss. Of course there is always a BUT to everything. If they don't want to go to bed yet, they will answer you with "I'm not going nytnyt! Or I'm going to the white one (our bedroom), or No! Nytnyt, I'm watching TV hahahaha. Oh boy, the world of toddlers. You never run out of fun and amazing day to share.

Toddlers have their mind of their own. They say what they want to say and express their feelings the way they know how. You cannot force them to do things you want. However, baby and toddler years are both terrific despite of the tantrums and terrible invasion. Dealing with toddlers behavior is sometimes tiring and frustrating but what can we do they're still toddler and needs our guidance. That is why I need to buy a sack of patience and a truck of energy to handle all this words and perhaps play with them all the time. LOL *wink*

Naughty and Mischievous Little Miss

Mischievous and naughty little miss reading. How cute!!!

This 27 months old little Miss has becoming a triple handful the cuteness and naughtiness. She level herself to us and she things what mommy and daddy can do, Justine can too. If we have a can of coke left over in the fridge, well Justine will finished. If she throws tantrums and I'll scold her and tell her she's a brat, mind you she has the answers to that like, I'm not brat, I'm Justine..You brat waaaaa.

Anyway, this morning Jake went to the bathroom to potty and he closed the door. I was at the couch sitting listening to both of them bickering because Justine is in the bathroom and Jake wanted her out. But it's too late because she was too busy to listen to Jake I guess. She climbed up on top of the laboratory again and got a hold of the baby power.

So I went there to checked on Jake if he is done, and this is what I saw. The girl was covered with powder and her face did not even shows a little guilt. Jake who did not touch the baby powder look more scared than this little mischievous sweetypie. I told her to stay away from the powder but as soon as I turned my back there she was playing with her hands. Amazing girl doesn't she?

Happy Birthday Babger!

I just want to make a quick greeting post for my husband before his birthday will be over. Happy birthday babe. The kids greeted him Happy birthday daddy today. We did not have fancy celebration. It's just some regular days to us. Having my sister and BIL over for brunch was a plus to his birthday celebration. They stayed for a while before the flew back to Las Vegas. We already exchanged each other a birthday gift and I gave him a free of charge massage because it's his birthday.

Uncle Kelly and Gangga's Visit

Webcam Whoring and New Netbook

I asked for early birthday/Christmas gift from the husband and it arrived last week. We were exploring what this pink baby gizmo can do and we were impressed how clear the webcam.

First, it was husband and I playing silly faces in webcam. The following day when I stayed late trying to finished some assignment the kikay woke so we were webcam whoring again. Then, today we were bored so we played silly faces again using the webcam. I love my new toy although it's hard for me to blog in full swing because I have no photos stored in this netbook besides the one I took using the webcam and few that I downloaded from FB.

Jake and I finished the Halloween decoration this morning. I forgot to put the door cover that i bought at Dollar General for $1. I bought this when we visited Slippery Rock last month.

The Trick-or-Treat starts at 5:30 to 7:00 in the evening here in Greenfield. Joe took the kids for trick or treat and i'm in charge of giving out candies. Right now these two candy monsters are busy munching the goodies they got.

Dog Lover Princess

In our family, it's our youngest sibling Lieza who has passion with animals. She just love and adore puppies and kittens. Besides Prince and Sassy, she also has a rabbit pet. Now that she's in Kuwait, it's my other sister Louella takes care of these fur creatures.

I think Justine's fascination with dogs, got that from my youngest sister. She is indeed a dog lover. She likes to pet a dog and doesn't care if it's going to bite her or not. When she first saw this huge dog at the mall last year, she wanted to pet the dog but i did not let her because I got scared it might attacked her. Look at that dog, it was twice or triple her size.

When the dog left, she cried out loud. We were chatting with my sister and mom few days ago, They put Prince (the dog) on the cam and Justine exclaimed; oh cute puppy!

Our Cold Lazy Week

We've been having cold weather lately and as usual we're stuck inside. Nothing else to do but to find ways to amuse ourselves like play dress up once again. Here are spidey and princess kikay.
The potty training had been so great this past couple of weeks. Keep it up Jake. I think once Jake is fully potty trained Justine will instantly follow because every time Jake pooped, she copied and pooped in the potty too.

We carved the pumpkin this week too and decorated outside. I placed the scare crow outside too but the wind the other day was a bit heavy that it blown the scare crow away. It landed on the street. I already fixed it today. You might think that why this little man was in his diaper if the weather is cold. Well, he doesn't care but temperature below 40s degree, that's already freezing to me.

We also played with the shadows. Good thing the shadows were there to play with these two little munchkins.
I hope tomorrow we can go out and do something else. Pardon me for not returning some of your comments or bloghopping, my computer monitor is still on vacation. Don't have money to replace for it. i'm waiting for my sister to come visit us next month because she will take their extra monitor and donate it to me. LOL Happy weekend ya'll.

Pumpkin Patch, Family Weekend and Justine in Action

This is one of the first that we will never forget. Our first pumpkin patch experience. A hay ride going to the pumpkin farm. I asked one passenger to take a picture of us.

As soon as we got there, Justine let go of my hand and played with the animals. She doesn't want me to hold her because she wants to run around and picked pumpkin. Jake however, can't stop saying to buy toys that he saw at the store inside the farm.

Justine picked three different sizes of pumpkin. We already had four pumpkin in the cart but the little Miss, picked another one.

Little Miss has problem with car motion so on our way to that pumpkin patch farm and back home she was crying and screaming.

Ruby Tuesday | Tigger & Spidey are Best Friend

These two bored little monkey rummaged Jake's closet yesterday and found the spider man costume from last year. Ms. Kikay got the spidey mask.

The buckaroo came down to get me so he can wear the spidey too. The tigger was Jake's Halloween costume couple of years ago and it fits on Justine.

So, here they are as Tigger and Spider man.

They got along pretty good chasing each other and glad no one was crying. Jake's can't wait for Trick or Treat especially now the theme in most of the shows on Nickjr is about trick or treat.

My Mini-Mwah who loves copying everything she sees. If she sees me putting lotion on, she also want some and start rubbing the lotion to her legs. If she sees me combing my hair, expect her to ask the comb from you so she can comb her hair despite the fact that she doesn't like combing her curly hair. Obviously, in this picture she wanted to copy me in a squat position.

Monkey see, monkey do is the new game J&J playing at their age right now. They copied each other. This morning Jake pooped in the potty, so Justine also went potty. They both did it, good job Jake and Justine. I hope you will do that everyday so Daddy and Mommy will be happy but we are proud of your two anyway.

For my husband’s birthday this year, I decided that I was going to buy him concert tickets to see Brad Paisley. I used to watched that show and she (Willa) was right, I never thought of that though but I don't think they're making new episodes of some sort. Anyway, have no plans of putting this on the funniest video I just want to share this one.

The video was taken during our vacation in Las Vegas. My sweet curly tops kikay was still less than 2 year old and yet she was already a handful. She tried to keep up with 3 year old Jake and 4 year old Dallas. Every time she gets on that slides she jumped on excitedly that even me who was all eyes to her still panicked when she almost fell. That was a funny and yet scary moment for us but she looked so cool and relax like nothing happened. Meet my daredevil Miss Kikay!

Playing Ring Around Rosie

Welcome to our world!

Our life is just so simple. We spend most of our time inside the house and if we get bored we go outside and stay in the backyard playing with chalk and dirt. If we feel like going to the playground we walked half a mile or drive to the bigger playground or park. Watch their cartoons show at NickJr, or sometimes watch movies. This is our world and we learn to get used to it. Not all the time but we play hide and seek, tag or monster play, or ring around the rosies. One time we were playing and I asked babger to take few snaps. Gosh, it came our so blurred but thanks anyway hehe. Well, as usual this game ended up with time out because the little man wanted to play more. But they like falling on top of me and i got tired so playtime is over.

Fall is finally here, not so excited about it because I hate cold weather. Some of the leaves on the trees have changing its colors already. Took this photo today on our way to Slippery Rock to visit grandMa.

On our way home as usual stopped by at our fave Dairy Queen for some ice cream. DQ will close when the weather start getting cooler.

I really hate it when the temperature dropping down. It is still warm outside during the day but at night the temperature go down to 40 or 50 degrees. I have my jacket on whole day but I still feel some chill. We are not using the heater yet and trying to save on electricity as much as possible.

Family Visit, Toys, and Attitude

The walk out Prince! He did not want to take pictures with the family after his Daddy loaded up all the toys to the car compartment. What an attitude LOL.

Last summer the whole family from Chicago and New York City visited over at Slippery Rock. It's a family thing that they always do every summer. It's sort of a reunion. They bought tons of hand me downs toys for Jake and Justine being the youngest cousins in the family. These two were a snob when we arrived there because they both shy to mingle but once they saw all the toys they started loosen up.

Wednesday, that the same week, one of the family came over to our house and visited us. J&J were both happy and they couldn't stop showing off. Jake cried so hard when they left because he still wants to play with them. Their cousins L&H are both amazing kids and definitely knows how to handle little kids like J&J.

Mommy Adik and Mr. Paparazzi

Here is MR. Paparazzi stealing the camera while the Mother was upstairs still sleeping and snoring. Obviously, he plated with it first downstairs before taking it upstairs. You have no idea how many pictures this little man took.

That includes a very embarrassing face of her Mom sleeping very late. I couln't help but posted my face right here in my blog. feel free to laugh yo hehe.

I think this happened Monday morning when I went to bed almost 6:00 in the morning that Sunday night. I had to go to bed before Joe woke up for work. He woke me up because these two little paparazzi were also up when he got up from bed. Of course I was already half asleep and was very tired from staying way so late that morning/night.

Lesson learned, cover your mouth when you sleep bwahahahaa. Seriously, do not stay up late when you have two little rugrats who gets up early in the morning.

More Puzzles and Percy

Yeeeeheey more puzzles. The buckaroo is so in love with Percy puzzle right now. I lost count how many times he put these together then break it again so on and forth.

We got the car back again so we went to Target and Costco today. We bought three boxes of puzzles for Jake and he picked up this one "Percy" the #6 little engine. We bought a baby stroller for Justine's baby because they broke the first stroller we got for her during her birthday. My husband took the car to the repair shop for inspection on Saturday and everything went great.

Unlucky Lucky Plants

This lucky bamboo have survived many times. I thought it gonna die when the leaves turned yellow and dry. But here it is still trying to look pretty and lucky. I placed this lucky bamboo in the corner to the bathroom.

Without knowing it, a little princess have been picking it's leaf because one time she came up to me and presented this fresh grown leaf. She had been doing that for quiet a while that made my lucky not so lucky at all because it's getting bald. That new leaf that she picked I planted it in a different flower pot and I'm glad it survived.

Last month I felt bad for my lucky bamboo so I replaced it with the five fingers. If you have noticed there is no five leaf in this plant but look at the next photo one leaf is missing.

Weee five fingers.... My curly top kikay took care of it. Yes, she been doing her own gardening with this plant i have decorated inside the house.

The eyes are just couple of small parts of our body but the eyes expressions conveys clues as to what another person is thinking as the eyes are the window to the soul. Meditate, contemplate and evaluate who you really is before judging people. If people are wicked then you are one of them because you are the people. A Long Walk to Remember

These two are so bum already staying inside the house the whole summer. We never gone outside that much after our trip to Las Vegas and we made single trip to their GranMa's place once. Couple of days ago, I we went to the park and walk all the way there. I can't get the wagon out of our garage so we decided to walk. I tested these two if they can make it and they did. Great job Jake and Justine. I'm so proud of you two.

That was a long walk actually. Cars who passed by looking at us with wondering look in their eyes for walking that far. But these two were happy hikers and did not even complained.

They had their snacks when couple of squirrel came closer to our picnic table begging for food. We tossed a pinch of their bread to the squirrel.

and the squirrel were both happy munching it. The other squirrel was hiding behind the tree though.

We continued to walk heading to the playground because the old playground by the park was broken. I called babger to pick us up on his way home from work.

She was the unstoppable one who cannot keep still. She was running around the park, downhill and uphill. She said it's fun running. LOL. As soon as we got home she laid down in the couch so tired and fell asleep after drinking her milk.

The Untold Story of a Not so Real Friendship

It was August 2nd, I called HER and asked if they're busy on the 3rd (tomorrow). She answered not really. So, I invited her if they can come on my daughter's birthday. Then she said we'll see and they might kasi they will also picked up their d's uniform in Pittsburgh. She had to asked the husband first if they can. I said, ok and we don't have other visitors just you guys. so, let me know then. She, said ok buzz nlng kita sa YM. That night my computer broke. The next day, I waited for her to call na hindi makasipot. I presumed that they probably can't make it on J birthday but I waited for her to at least gave us a ring to confirmed it. I'm done preparing the food and everything and Jake keep asking if when are they coming. I said they probably won't come. Later that night I was already upset of the idea that why this person whom I treated friend don't value our friendship. Take note: they're already in Pittsburgh picking up the uniform, but the thing they don't value other peoples business besides them that's what I thought. I got a call from Her that night that said, pasensya na hindi na kami nakasipot blah blah blah, i left comment in your blog (heller my computer is broke at isa pa you could have called early that day and tell me straight or, you could have said NO on that night I invited you, i would not mind it at all) That day I made a decision yo stop communicating with her and removed her in my true friend, friend and acquaintances list because she did not treated me as one.
Do you get mad when you invited someone and they don't show up? YES I definitely get mad if that someone showed up to your invitations countless of times. I get mad if that someone prepared foods and expected one visitors only. The word is not MAD, because mad is equivalent to being crazy. I was disappointed of you not telling me the truth that you cannot make it. I was disappointed at you for not calling earlier that day that you can't make it. I was disappointed at you because i thought you are different, i thought you're friend. Now, you see why I was upset at you. It's not all about the "not showing up to the birthday party" it's more on respect, honesty and friendship. I even swallowed my pride, begging my husband to drive me to West Virginia kahit super pagod. Please, be honest to your friend and don't pretend or lead them to other direction. I know and see you have too many friends, value them. That's the least you could do, if you know the meaning of FRIENDSHIP.

What upset me with the way she treated us was. THREE times we drove to their place 30-40 minutes because she invited us minus the EB part na mas convenient sa kanila, na even we got there late, we came anyway. We are also family but we made it to your invitation without going to other appointments because I said YES to your invitation. You see, we are not only treating you as mere acquaintances and just friends but more than just being a friends. I had so much respect on you but it all fade out when you LIED to me. I agree, family comes first but at least give a minute or two to call and confirmed na hindi makakarating. Hindi na sana nag hanap ang asawa ko nga mabibilhan ng fried chicken.

Not attending the party is not a crime but pretending and lying, making up some alibis to the family who was willingly went to your place voluntarily is totally bad. All I want was simple honesty but it probably killing you saying NO directly that is why you did not care if you can make it or not. Based on that action, WHO IS the TRUE FRIEND there? You did not HOLD our friendship and considered me and my family as your friend kaya parang ikaw natamaan sa sinasabi mo. You did not missed the birthday intentionally but you put our friendship on the very least of your appointment.

You mentioned to send me an virtual gift but I honestly told you na never mind kasi okay lng and we give gift on non occasional basis. We chatted few words but when I was about to say something about it, you said, you're about to log off na because matutulog ka na. Take note, you're about to logged off kasi matutulog na. I thought natutulog ka na, but hindi kasi you still want to know who is that blogger said about your NO FOLLOW tag blog. Simple analysis, you were mad at me for telling you the truth and making you aware of whats going on. You LIED right in front of our chat that you were going to bed. I let that go because i was thinking maybe it's my bad for telling about you that issue. So, happen that my link is the only Do Follow there and the black one links were all NO FOLLOW.

There is a code of ethics involved in blogging and that's the only concern of those bloggers talking about your no follow. They don't care about your personal stuff.

You thought NEGATIVE about me for telling the truth. You don't rant NEGA stuff here but you stub behind the back to your friend who talked NEGA rant. One time I made pancake, strawberry and scrambled egg for breakfast. They did not eat the scrambled eggs but chef Justine made something out of her platter.

Geez, when is the last time I played Mommy Moments? I honestly don't remember. As I was visiting tsang Dhemz blog I read the theme for this week Mommy Moments, so I clicked through the link and checked the host's blog. In celebration of the "Linggo ng Wika", Mommies will be featuring and shares any stories or photos about how our kids embrace being a Filipino. Honestly, I don't sat down and teach my kids filipino or tagalog but everyday I speak Bisaya or Cebuano to them. I don't expect them to follow but I noticed that Justine have been following what I say and do. The video below was just some random days that we played with the camera. So, after i checked the theme I uploaded the pictures from the camera to my computer that I took since Justine's birthday.

Lately, Jake had been noticing our skin color. He said to me one time that I am brown, Dada is white. Jake and Justine are white too. So, Joe explained to him that Mama is a Filipino therefore he is half pinoy. Well, he still 3 years old and he doesn't care with the explanation whatsoever. Little Cowboys and Train Conductor in Red Rock Canyon

It was so hot when we drove going to the Red Rock Canyon and these little cowboys were thirsty and hungry. However, this amazing little Miss just didn't mind the heat as long as there's soil to play with.

On our way home we stopped by at Bonnie Spring for a train ride. Riding a train is like a dream come true for these two Thomas fans. Joe did not come with us so he stayed in the car with Justine.

Jake was the conductor and he loved it. He wanted to ride more but we don't have money ($7/head train ride).

During the show, these two were force to sit in that bench and listen to the cowboy talking and showing off.

Potato Sprout

I decided the logical thing to do was open an event planning business since my friends were always asking me to help with their weddings and parties and such and I really had a knack for decorating and throwing one heck of a bash! Birthday and Appointment

My sweety pie, celebrated her 2nd birthday couple of days ago. Happy birthday sweety.

We had ice cream cake of course and some foods. She was happy when we started singing her happy birthday and enjoyed opening few presents. At 2 year old, she is capable to do lots of things and more aware of what's going on around her. She is more appreciative of the things we gave to her.

She had her doctor appointment this morning and she is doing grate according to her doctor. She have grown few inches for height and getting heavier too from her last visit.

My computer died the night before her birthday and did not able to post updates. I am using my husband's computer which I am kind of hesitant to use for blogging because this is for his work computer. Thank Babger for allowing me to blog today using your lappy. I need to finish some task tonight. Thank ya'll for your visit.

Mommy Moments - Lil Shopper

It's been a while since i last participated the Mommy Moments meme. Well, I'm back and I am not sure if it's for good or just temporary. I was dropping ads when I read this week's theme and I thought it's perfect because we just went to the mall today.

Say the word Mall or store and these two will come running. We bought Justine a baby stroller. It was supposed to be her birthday gift but I let her play with it to keep her busy while we went shopping. Babger was so very nice today he bought a pair of shoes for me and toys for the dragons.

Back in Las Vegas while we were on vacation. My sister and I took Ev, Jake, and Justine to the store. We took these kids on a separate day. Shopping with the lil boys was easy but shopping with this little Miss, was a different story. She picked everything she likes. She loved shoes and even if that shoes she was wearing in the picture won't fit, she still wore it going to the cashier. I had to hide it because I had no plans of buying it. She grabbed this baby in the stroller and won't let go with it. I had to carry her when the cashier ran the scanner in the item because the little Miss won't give it to us. She always said, "It's Mine!" What can you do about it.

Jollibee and Chowking

The very next thing we did when we arrived in Las Vegas was to go to Jollibee. This was part of the reason why I insisted to go to Las Vegas after our supposed vacay was canceled. We needed a break and I missed Jollibee hehe. You can also see Chowking and Red Ribbons in this building. It's not an easy drive going to the place so as much as i wanted to eat chicken joy, spag, steak and more in Jollibee we can't because the weather was sometimes not so nice and the drivers were tired .

Flying Back Home

It feels great to be back in our home sweet home. We had a very rough flight last night.

We left Las Vegas around 11 in the evening flying with United Airlines. We had a stop over at Chicago.

We landed in Chicago airport around 5 in the morning. The we departed at around 7 this morning coming back to Pittsburgh.

It was a quick flight like more than an hour I think and we arrived in Pittsburgh airport around 9 in the morning.

Justine wasn't happy with the 5 hour plane ride from Las Vegas to Chicago. She doesn't like crowded places and she hated being in the plane.

I just want to post an update to this blog and thought of sharing this pictures from my sister's computer. We took a bunch of pictures but she downloaded a few to her computer. Anyway, J&J bonded with Dallas for 5 days and they had hate and love relationship. Dallas and Justine got along nicely while Jake and Dallas they're like frienemy. They had wonderful time together and now J&J misses Dallas.

How's your 4th of July everyone?

We had a great 4th of July this time. We went to Downtown Pittsburgh to watch the fireworks. We got there around 2:00 o clock and the fireworks will start at 9:00 in the evening. Jake and Justine were so active and they're wearing us out. So, when they started playing with the dirt and put soil in their head, we decided to just blew the fireworks off and headed home.

We had fun already watching the Wakeboarding from Wisconsin and all the awesome landmarks in Downtown Pittsburgh or Point State Park.
