Wrapping up everything we did last week. We went to the mall strolling and did a little shopping.
Spent some $$$ in the rides inside the mall woooo woooo
Had a blast sliding weeeeeee
A week before Thanksgiving I took the dragons out for a short walk
And on Thanksgiving we had Baby Back Ribs instead of Turkey

The day after Thanksgiving I forgot to put the camera in a safe place and the buckaroo found it. So, he was playing with it and this is one of his shot. The dusty table.

Every time that we go to the hospital for an appointment for either me or one of our children, I see a lot of people wearing medical uniforms, and I wonder what it would be like to get to wear medical scrub pants to work. Our Simple Thanksgiving

It was a rainy and cold Thanksgiving day but that didn't stop us to drive more than an hour going to Slippery Rock to spend Thanksgiving with my MIL.

We had simple Thanksgiving dinner. Babger cooked an oven baked baby back ribs as the main course of the meal then I made mashed potatoes. We had cheese cake for dessert and that was our yummy Thanksgiving feast. Not that much but it was sumptuous and filling food, enough reason to be thankful for the food we had.

After dinner these two dragons found the vacuum and started cleaning their grandma's floor. The vacuum are too big for them but they managed it well. Btw, this is also my entry for this week Mommy Moments theme "Too Big".

These are some of the activities they do all day. The lamb chop peed on her pretty dress so i let her wear her sweatshirt as i forgot to bring extra clothes. The buckaroo was busy following around his grandma asking for crayons and stuff.

We never had a nice family photo so when we came home from SR i tried to take a good photo. But as expected the dragons not cooperating and was busy watching TV.

Oh! I have little stuff here btw. I browsed again our pictures folder and found this little cars. Jake was arranging all his little cars in this old table that they inherited from my husband's older sister.

I also caught the buckaroo sucking his little baby's tiny bingky.

Of all the words that my buckaroo is picking up, it may seem like he has one grand favorite and that is the big "NO." Since the day he started learning few words he is been refusing to lots of things. it is hard now to convince him to do something or eat anything because he can say no. He sometimes said no before even if what he meant was yes. He said yeah instead of yes. But the no still the word of the day. I wonder when his sacks of snow be over.

According to the source I read at babycenter.com; Preschoolers say "no" a lot because they're discovering their own free will. "No" is a handy way to voice their opinion. (Sometimes they even say "no" when they really mean "yes.") Sometimes a not-very-verbal child will resort to "no" just because he's mad or flustered and struggling to get his point across. Your preschooler may also learn that if he says it loudly and forcefully enough, Mom and Dad will really pay attention ... they might even go along with it!

Giving your child choices is one way to reduce the number of no's you hear from him. Also, encourage him to answer in a quiet voice, and coach him in some alternatives: "What's the opposite of 'no'? 'Yes!'" "You can say 'no,' or you can say 'yes,' or guess what's in the middle? You can say 'maybe!'"

RT - Something Old and Broken New

The buckaroo broke this new guitar.

The babger pulled out a box of old wooden block from the attic. We received lots of hand-me-downs and heirloom toys from my MIL and SILs. I hid them up in attic.

Hubby used to play this old wooden blocks when he was little. Now it's Jake time to playing them. And of course additional crap to clean up.
