Dracaena is any of a genus of tropical shrubs and trees of the agave family, including the dragon tree. The temperature requirements for Dracaena is a comfortable 75 degrees and the water requirements are low. The Dracaena family makes up an important group of plants used to decorate, scrub the air and make "green" homes, offices, malls, apartments and the landscape around the world. This group of diverse shaped plants consist of approximately 40 or so assorted species coming in a varieties of forms and sizes. Dracaenas are one of the plants used in the NASA Clean Air Study and has shown to help remove Formaldehyde.
