PBW#10- Thanksgiving Week

I want to share some pictures of our thanksgiving weekend at the Windy City. It was my first time in Chicagi, so I was pretty excited of that trip regardless of the long hours drive hehe. Thanks God, on the way there Jake and Justine was very nice and perfectly quiet for the whole 9+ hours drive. The downtown was awesome but we didn't have much time to look around on the day time there. So, my SIL and her kids tour us around the University of Chicago where she works and the Museum of Science and Industry as it just a 3 miles away from their house. So, for my Pixel Bug Weekend here are my fun getaway pictures to share with you all.
Jake and Justine getting ready to go to Chicago.

Our first stop at Ohio

Paying for the last toll fee at Chicago Skyway

Taking a walk around their neighborhood.

And of course our lil beaver gathering some sticks and dirt at the back in one of the University of Chicago buildings.

Inside the Museum; they have Idea toy factory where kids enjoy playing like they are working inside the Sears factory, and some farm things and the maniature of Chicago and more.

Outside the Museum of Science and Industry

Inside the car heading home

Posed for some family pictures before leaving Chicago

This was the great family vacation for us since we seldom go out because of busy work and cold weather. Click the badge to visit other PBW entry and thanks to Sassy Mom for hosting this meme.

Collect Christmas Carols For Kids

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Madacy Entertainment. All opinions are 100% mine.

60xmas

Christmas is in the air. Different stunning Christmas decoration and Christmas trees are seen every where such as malls, on the streets, and houses. Christmas shows or movies are played on TV and radio. My son has this Christmas CD that we played all the time when he takes a nap and going to bed at night. We could add to his collection the 60 Christmas Carols For Kids from Amazon. Well, beginning on Black Friday Amazon MP3 Will offer an MP3 Deal on the digital album - 60 Christmas Carols For Kids for only $3.69. This digital album normally sells for $9.49. This is an amazing collection of children's Christmas favorites performed by The Countdown Kids that is perfect for sing a long fun. Music is important in a baby's life. Incorporating music into a baby's life early will help develop his or her senses. As a parent, I want to give all I can to my children, and that includes music. I always on the look out for any latest kids stuff including CD songs. We would love to have it for our Justine and especially Jake. He appreciates music, it may be instrumental or classical, he love listening to it and dance with its tune. And since its Christmas, why not play some jolly Christmas carols to feel the spirit of Christmas and have your kids enjoy listening as well.

Meaningful Gift

So often in our lives, we take things for granted. We take our possessions for granted, and we even take our health and our lives for granted. We get caught up with our busy life everyday, at work, family and other activities. And now that the season of giving is around the corner which is also the season of miracles let's take a pause and think of what’s really important in our lives. Let's remind ourselves that it really is a wonderful life and it’s all in how we perceive and appreciate the gifts and blessings around us. Take for example that monthly gift also known as the curse! The miracle of emerging medicine is showing that menstrual blood really is a gift. Our monthly gift is indeed a miracle not a curse. It saves life in the future. Scientists have proven that menstrual blood is rich in adult stem cells, the life-saving building blocks of life that are commonly harvested from bone marrow or other invasive and painful procedures. C'elle is a company that specializes in storing menstrual blood stem cells. It has been shown that stem cell research is the present and future of finding cures for certain diseases. Check out online now about C'elle and learn all the benefits in saving your menstrual blood. Stem cells found in menstrual blood may potentially be useful in future therapies to treat a number of debilitating conditions such as heart disease, stroke and diabetes. They also have the potential to be used in cosmeceutical applications such as anti-aging and sports medicine. You can click on the link provided to read the FAQs and more information of their campaign in preserving the stem cells found in their menstrual blood. A Drink for Thanksgiving

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Jones Soda. All opinions are 100% mine.

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, we are looking around for different food and drinks that we can have over the holiday. My husband has been working so hard this semester, and we are really looking forward to having this time off and having some good food and drinks. We like the usual kinds of food for this time of year, but we are always on the look out for something new. Recently we had the chance to try Tofurky and Gravy Jones Soda . It came as a sample through the mail in a Thanksgiving Postie Pack. It is a sweet and thick soda that is perfect if you are enjoying a vegetarian meal. I was surprised at how it tasted. I did not think that it would have been so sweet. I think that my sister would really like to have some as a Christmas present. My mother would probably like it too. I know that we will be having mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn, tomatoes, and of course turkey, so maybe some Tofurky and Gravy Jones Soda will be just the right thing to compliment all of that. I hope all of you have a nice Thanksgiving, and if you get the chance, maybe you can try this new drink.
