zwani.com myspace graphic comments

Today is a Memorial Day to commemorates U.S. soldiers who died while in the military service. They are the American heroes who died in defended this country. This holiday is observed on the last Monday of May and to honor dead Americans from all wars. A Salute to all our Soldiers!

I guess tomorrow is back to work again. Suckishly huh! Anyhow, it is not only federal holiday to us because today we also celebrated our 3rd Anniversary. I totally forgot that it is our anniversary until Babger reminded me whahahaha. I feel like my life here is a fast forward. I arrived on third week of may 2007, got married on the 31st, got pregnant on July of the same year. Then gave birth on march 2008, got prego again on the same year and gave birth the next year. What a busy life! You can't blame me babger for forgetting the special date hehehe. Happy Anniversary Babger!

We didn't go any where to celebrate the day instead we took the kids for few minutes outside to enjoy the weather and watch other family having a picnic at the park. Then, Babger made an effort to grill some steak and that was it. How was your weekend and holiday folks?

Fun Ride

Yesterday, we went to visit Mary and had a bike ride with her at Franklin. It was a long drive but it was really fun. It was a long trail but we only rode a little over 7 miles. Then had the kids play and plunge in the water by the creek at Franklin. Justine love the water while Jake at first was scared to step in the water. But then he stepped in right before we left. The little lamb chop as usual can't keep the stone away from her mouth. She tasted all the stone she was holding at. Such a yucky baby but a cutie ever.

Mommy Moments - Motherhood

Women do not have to sacrifice personhood if they are mothers. They do not have to sacrifice motherhood in order to be persons. Liberation was meant to expand women's opportunities, not to limit them. The self-esteem that has been found in new pursuits can also be found in mothering.
-- Elaine Heffner

Motherhood is this week topic in Mommy Moments. Check out other mommies post about motherhood that will certainly inspires us all. Click the button on top and learn from their experiences.

Motherhood has a very humanizing effect. Everything gets reduced to essentials.”

~ “The joys of motherhood are never fully experienced until the children
are in bed.” - Author Unknown

~ “Motherhood: All love begins and ends there.”-Robert Browning

~ “Motherhood is priced of God, at price no man may dare to lessen or misunderstand.”
- Helen Fiske Hunt Jackson

It's hard for me to put into words what I truly feel when I become a Mother. All I know being a Mother is the best thing that ever happen to me and I wouldn't trade that for the whole world. Motherhood can bring joy greater than anything you’ve ever imagine. It also bring sorrow and pain at the same time. You're hurting far worse when your child is hurting and you practically cry from extreme happiness of you see that your children are happy. Our children are the ones who mold us into better mothers.

Make a Difference for Children

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Making Change . All opinions are 100% mine.

With all of our daily struggles in life, it is rare that we sit down and think about people that may have more problems in life than we do. Whether you think about it or not, there are children all over the world who do not have certain things in life that most of us consider basic necessities. If you are interested in making change now, then take note of child sensation Bilaal Rajan. Bilaal Rajan is 13 years old, and will lead his second annual Barefoot campaign for world change on International Children's Day June 1, 2010. Bilaal will go barefoot for the entire day, and he is encouraging everyone else to do the same. He wants to bring light to the fact that many children across the world do not have shoes or education opportunities either. He would like children in school to ask their teachers to allow them to go barefoot, and he is encouraging adults to shed their shoes at work too. I think that this is a wonderful idea, and I hope that all of my readers take part in this. I certainly will. You should also check out his book Making Change: Tips from an Underage Overachiever. Bilaal proves that age is no object when people put their minds to making change. Get involved today!

He Did this!, She did that!

J&J are becoming handful to the highest level. Everyday they find tons of things to trash around. While I was upstairs this afternoon getting ready for my OBGYN appointment, Jake got a hand of my bag on top of the table. He pulled everything out including the camera. I came downstairs found my stuff all over the floor and the camera was on. I had no idea what he did with the came. I just checked the cam few minutes ago and found these pictures in the memory. I deleted the rest of it. Then, when we got home from the appointment Jake took a nap while Justine was playing. I was tired and took a cat nap in the couch. When i got up I found the diapers scattered all over the floor. She was not playing with toys instead she enjoyed playing with diapers and wipes now.

She also enjoys playing Jake's race car. She now the neophyte tornado, Jake's apprentice. Both of them are handful and have their own business to do everyday. They are powerful, they are super tornado hehehe.

Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium

I have shown in my previous post some of the animals in Pittsburgh Zoo. Now here are the creatures that live underwater in PPG Aquarium. You can see different kind of underwater creatures, coral, penguins, fish, shark, sea lions, and many more. The fish is the only creatures in the zoo that caught Jake's interest. While Justine only cares about the food.

The 77-acre Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium is one of only six major zoo and aquarium combinations in the country. Also ranked among the top three children's zoos in the country, the Pittsburgh Zoo has thousands of animals in naturalistic habitats, a wonderful Kids Kingdom and a stunning indoor aquarium. Actively involved in wildlife conservation and species survival, the Pittsburgh Zoo also exhibits dozens of threatened or endangered species.
