Enjoying New York

Our five days trip to New York City was fine and went smoothly. We finished our main purpose of the visit in one day and able to enjoy few places in the Big Apple. We stayed at my SIL's place and got some break from Jake and Justine. Thanks to Sarah, Nathan, Lillian and Henry for a wonderful accommodations. Lillian and Henry are very good with kids and they occupied most of Jake and Justine's time. They are such wonderful and good kids. Jake and Justine are so lucky to have them as their cousins. When we go places they always volunteered to push the stroller and they always play with my dragons. We were lucky coz their place is right in Manhattan where everything are accessible. We planned to go to some nice places but after couple of days walking around the place like Central Park, school playground, Consulate, River Side, Museum and others we got tired. Our energy was sucked up with all those walking and super hot temperature. We planned of going to Rockefeller, Empire State Building or if possible the Statue of Liberty but after couple of days being there Joe complained already and doesn't wanna go farther places that needs a bus ride. I wanted to go but I'm afraid I might get lost. So, we just enjoyed ourselves in the nearest fun places like central park, museum and the likes that we could go in just 5 to 10 minutes walk from my SIL's place. Even if Justine caught a cold, and we are all tired and exhausted one thing for sure we had great time at the Big Apple.

Finest Wool Clothing Made in America

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Ramblers Way. All opinions are 100% mine.

My husband likes to tell the story to me about how and where he grew up. He grew up in a small town out in the countryside of western Pennsylvania. There weren't too many people, so the town relied on small businesses for survival. He likes to recall that the town grocery store was right behind his house. When we go there to visit his family, he comments on how things have changed. Big business has moved in, and the small businesses have suffered. It was nice to hear about the Ramblers Way Farm Corporation. They source, grow, and produce their own wool clothing, and they have their offices and production plants in small towns in need of an economic boost. They are helping to revitalize small towns in the United States, and they produce the finest wool clothing that is Made in America. Preserving small towns is important for the future of this great country, and everyone living in the United States benefits when the economy here is strong. A product that says made in America means that Americans are at work producing fine products. More Americans at work means that the economy is getting stronger. Give the Ramblers Way Farm Corporation a look, and make America strong.

It's time for ABC Wednesday and thank you to all the host or hostess of this educational fun meme.

He is into wearing daddy's stuff now. So, every time that Dada takes his shirt off, Jake tries to put it on.

Happy Birthday to My Father

It's my Father's Birthday today July 27th. Happy Birthday Pa. Another year added to your age but it doesn't mean you are getting older like what you always complain. You are just getting matured heheehe. The number 64 is just a number, you are still young and you can still do lots of cockfighting every Sunday or everyday if you have 20 pesos, drive your motorcycle and hopefully meet your Grandkids soon. You did lots of hardwork for your family and to us. Thank you for everything you did to us. Please take care of your health and enjoy your life. Happy Birthday!

Pre-Madona Passenger

Traveling with a baby and a toddler wasn't that easy. We were glad we made it to NYC without a biggy fuss from these two dragons. Anyhow, we had undesirable experience while we were on the plane on the way to New York City. Jake, Justine and I occupied the left wing seats while Joe was sitting the right seat by the isle. He was sitting next to this lady who was too busy talking to his fiancé I guess on the phone. After she hanged up the phone, she and Joe had a little chitchat while I was busy with the J&J. When the plane was about to take off, I handed Justine to Joe so i can buckle Jake up. All of a sudden this woman sitting next to Joe stood up even if she knows there was tiny space for her to get out because Justine was there but she still got out anyway. She approached one of the stewardess to transfer her to a different seat that has no baby. She had lots of craps with her in that chair and even if Joe's hand was full she still managed to ask him to hand her snacks, drinks, bags, books and more. I grabbed Justine so Joe can get all her stuff and moved to other seat. For me that was rude and inconsiderate. She didn't want to sit next with our baby or any other baby in that plane. A pre-Madonna passenger like her needs to buy a personal plane i think. Well, here comes the funny part because that woman was transferred to a seat the next to this passenger that have a baby and that baby had been crying and screaming in that 1 hour flight. On the other hand my dragons were very good in the plane. Justine fell asleep while Jake was busy coloring. Every time Jake heard the baby cries, he would say "Baby? Ohhh baby"

Mommy Moments - Park Day

We arrived yesterday afternoon from our 5 days vacay in the Big Apple NYC. Since this week Mommy Moments theme was about Park Day, i thought posting some of the pics we got at Central Park. This entry is quite late already but it's better than never and I don't want to miss this week MM of course.

The Central Park in NYC is a very huge park. It's like all fun stuff in one park with people playing music every where.

That picture where Jake hanging like a monkey was in different park with sprinkler where lots of kids in different ages with their nanny and mommy.

These pictures right here was still in central park but it was on the other side of the park, the river side.

Kuya Fake

This is a repost.

They both got up way early watch their favorite cartoons show. Hi5 is their most favorite show to watch every weekend. They always look like this if the show is hi-5. Once the show is over they start messing with my quiet time or fussing or fight with each other or should i say make Justine cry. Justine likes to play with Jake and follows him around.

After the show Jake went to the corner to play with his toys when Justine followed him because she wants to play too. I caught him trying to bite Justine's head again. So, I yelled and Jake quickly fake it into kiss. From bite to "MMMwah there you go", thats what he always says every time we caught him biting Justine
I then told him to give sissy a kiss and hug not bit. So, he obliged and hug Justine.
But the hug looks really mean. He hugged Justine so tight and of course the lil girl complained.
Then he played again to hin toys and the little lambchop stillwanted to play with him. He didn't want to play with her so he moved to other place. You can see it in the video below.
Then the girl followed him....this time I cut the video because he is about to bite the chubbylita cutie.

This is how Jake sometimes treat Justine. He still jealous with Justine and the sibling rivalry still there as well.

Thanks FC
Paula
