It's another edition of Mommy Moments hosted by Chris. This week theme is Black & White. Most of the pictures here are not so recent but there are the B&W photos that fits to the theme.
First, was a panorama photo of Jake throwing a tantrum fit. My first time to experiment with the panoramic features in the camera and he was my subject hehe.

ABC Wednesday - O is for Overtime

O is for Overtime, Overnight, Octopus.

Yes, folks I am having an Overtime today. Blame it to Frontierville and lazy bug. I thought it's letter P this week, I guess I have to go back to first grade section Buongon, row 23 because it seems like i don't know about my ABC. I kind of posted a over early ABC Wednesday for P. This is the result of having to many blogs to maintained plus a Frontierville to manage. I wish I am an Octopus so I will have 8 arms.

Eggciting Hunt

I asked babger to scattered the eggs out in the backyard so that the exciting dragonz will have so much fun hunting for the eggs. Jake got most of the eggs while the lil Miss found a few.

Busy buckaroo opening all his eggs.

And the happy bunny just swinging around.

Here are the eggs we dyed. The buckaroo was also having fun painting the Dora.

ABC Wednesday - Letter N

N is for Night and Numbers.

Last Friday we spent couple of minutes outside just playing. The little guy was not interested with swing which is different from the lamb chop who was into swing. The buckaroo played with the seesaw but he doesn't know how to swing himself or scared to try it. He was more interested with sticks than the swing. Here are some of the photos we had that Night.

Numbers - The lamb chop knows how to count from 2 to 10, you just have to guid her. If you say one, she will say two, if you repeat the two she will say three and so on... She can identify few numbers also like #2, 3, 4, and 5

Video of the lamb chop swinging in the little swing on her own.

I told you and I spank you

Jake was playing with Thomas little engines while Justine lying on the floor next to the tracks.

Jake: Sashin (Justine) go away.

Justine: (ignoring ang keep playing with her stuff toy. Her legs were at the tracks and accidentally kicked it)

Jake: (spank Justine's leg) I told you! I spank you. I told you

Justine: (crying) Jek, boo-boo

I was shocked when I heard the words that came from Jake's mouth, "I told you, I spank you". He copied us. Justine came to me crying because Jake spanked her.

New TV, New Cable?

I've been hearing raves from my friends who have Direct TV in their homes. Aside from being able to record their shows so they can watch it at a more convenient time, the other things they like about Satellite TV is that it is connected to all the rooms in the house and there are a lot of channels that are in HD or high definition.

My husband's colleague called last week and asking about our move. He said good luck and he also offered a new TV to us. It's a new TV. I was happy to hear that news though because moving is expensive and we do not have budget for a new TV. Anyway, we do not know exactly yet when we will be moving but we have tentative date already for the closing. So, if everything will go smoothly we will probably start moving after the closing.

Now if only I can convince my husband to upgrade our cable plan to Satellite TV, and maybe throw in a new LED or better, the everything will be perfect. We can go watch our shows at our own time when the kids are asleep, and at the same time give the kids some high quality, high definitely shows that they can learn from. Even though they may air simultaneously, it wouldn't be a problem because we can just record and watch it after.

Spring Fun at the Playground

It's a beautiful day in this neighborhood,
A beautiful day for a neighbor.
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?

The day was really beautiful at lumabas si haring araw, so time to hit the playground at Schenley Park. Thank goodness the spring has finally sprung. That was a long winter and I think we deserved to have a little break already. Let the spring be springy.

They've been stuck inside the hour for like ages. They want fun and be a kid. As soon as we got there in the playground J&J started running around. Jake said, put me down and Justine was squirming to be put down on the ground. She's climbing here and there no matter how high and dangerous.

Joe was following the buckaroo and I was following the lamb chop. Run here and there.

Sliding down from small slides to big winding slides.

Instead of going to the stairs to get to the slides, they just rather climb back up to the slides and weeeeeee. Justine called the slides and swing Weeeee. She said, mama weeee, pointing to the playgorund.

Mommy Moments - Summer Plans

It's Mommy Moments time once again. What can I say, TGIF!

Let us talk about summer plans, do you have any special plans? Our main plan this summer is to move to a new old house. It an old house like 108 years old but for us that is new. Justine will turn 2 this summer, s a celebration is a plan. More time in the park of course that's another plan.

Last year's trip to New York City was the main event we had in summer. But this year do not know yet if we can go some place. Couple of my online BFF was inviting me to join with their vacay and EB adventure to Disney world. Hubby and I had discussed about it but we will see if we have budget for it. My sister invited us to go to either Arizona or Las Vegas. Come what may, what's important is to have fun for summer.

Veggies and Intelligence

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Kidzmet for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I know green leafy vegetables are important for my children but as soon as they see them, they’d run out the door if they could.  Fortunately, with the help of other mommies with the same experience, I’ve learned a couple of trick or two by incorporating these vegetables in my kids’ favorite dishes.  Voila, they didn’t even notice there were new ingredients to their food and they seem to love it still!

I guess this could also be applied to our standards of intelligence.  I was browsing through a site online, Kidzmet.com, and one of their taglines made a lot of sense to me.  It goes like this, “Kidzmet was created to help kids discover who they're meant to become by connecting teachers, tutors and coaches with the students they were meant to teach.”

To start with, Kidzmet will ask for your child’s Pairing Portrait.  The Portrait will them match your child with a compatible mentor (not an exact mentor so that your child can expand their knowledge while cultivating their current interest).  I guess what’s great about the Portrait Pairing is that Kidzmet really believe that there is more than one way to teach a child, and that in introducing things they may not necessarily “like” in a different manner may actually end up with them loving it, just like veggies in their favorite foods.

Some House Photos

I snuck out some quick snap to take photos of the house the last time we were there. Hubby and the agent was busy talking in the basement while i was busy chasing these two little dragonz. So, here are the few photos I got. Above was the dining area and kitchen. There is one bathroom downstairs and one upstairs.
The main entrance. The nosy lamb chop so curious with everything.
The kitchen.
The stairs going up to the second floor.
There you can see the bathroom
And the living room. I'm sure these two will have a blast jumping around in this wooden floor. The second floor is carpeted and the stairs going up to the attic is also carpeted. So, everything in the first floor are hard wood. There was also one big garage in the back yard. There you go the house which we hope to be ours soon.
