I appreciate the guest post, Jewel Rodgers
When my husband and I first moved into this home, we thought everything would be perfect. We painted the walls, put in new floors, bought a bunch of new furniture, and got a home alarm system from Home security Family. We were barely settled in when things started to go wrong. First we started having problems with the plumbing. We started making repairs, but nothing ever seemed to help. We ended up replacing the whole plumbing system the first year we lived in the house. After that was done, the roof started to leak in three different places. We spent so much money on the plumbing overhaul that we didn’t know what we were going to do. We had to borrow money from my in-laws to cover the repairs for the roof. It was so embarrassing to ask them for money. We paid them back fairly quickly, but I know they will never forget how much they helped us. I knew home ownership would have its pitfalls, but I wasn’t prepared for the hemorrhage of money that occurred. After we bought this house.
