Grooming Yourself for a Career

Finding a good job can be difficult these days. For those of us who have a good job, getting promoted is our obstacle. What does it take to climb to the top of your profession? Is it just good old fashioned hard work? You might be surprised to learn that grooming has just as much to do with it. In a recent survey that was commissioned by Gillette and conducted by Harris Interactive, it was found that 84% of the Human Resource professionals interviewed think that employees that are well groomed will climb to the top of their career ladder quicker than others. Many of them also thought that being well groomed was more important than a firm handshake. In order to help guys that are out there looking for a job, Gillette has created the Gillette Career Advantage. At this website you can find valuable grooming tips, and you can also consult the advice of grooming experts Mark Jeffries and GQ style correspondent Brett Fahlgren. You can also take the Gillette Career Quiz and check out the Hire Guide where you will see what Human Resource professionals think of you. You will find everything you need to know to get that extra edge on the competition at work or at an interview. If you want to check out all of the products and resources that Gillette has to offer, then go to the Gillette Resource Center. Now you know. Clean it up guys and you will be much more successful at work.
