Mommy Moments - Name Game

It's Friday once again, and time for Mommy Moments hosted by Chris. This week mommy moments theme is "Name Game" suggested by Genebie. Here are the latest picture of Jake and Justine and the story or meaning behind their names.

Jake Before we got married, we already picked names for our kids. Our first choice was Josh or Jake if it was a boy and Alexandra if it was a girl. It's a long story though why we name him Jake, Well, I like the name Jake since I was single so I insisted to name our first born Jake. And of course we wanted to have our childrens name to start with letter "J" just like my husband's first letter name. We looked at the meaning of the Names online and t'was a nice name and we like it. Both their middle name came from my Family name or maiden name Requieron.
The name Jake means Diminutive of Jacob; He grasps the heel; Supplanter. Origin of the name; Hebrew and English.

Justine
Since the name Alexandra is kind of long, so we thought of other name and look online. There we found the name Justin for the boys which means Righteous, just, fair. So we added "e" at the end of the name to make it sound and look like girl name.
Justine is an English name means; Just upright, Feminine of Justin.
In Latin America, the name Justine means fairness.
Meaning of our names:
My husband's name is Joseph. He was name after his late grandfathers name. In biblical, the name means God will increase. In Hebrew, the name Joseph means; May Jehovah add/ give increase. St. Joseph of Arimathea undertook the burial of Jesus (in Holy Grail love). In the bible Joseph was sold by his brother into slavery and later rose to become a supreme power in Egypt. Also jesus legal father.
My name is Sheila which I don't like it before coz its too girl...ish. From what I learned before the name Sheila means Blind.
In Irish, the name Sheila means from the name Cecilia. The name Sheila originated as an Irish name.

This is my MIL hanging plant "Tomato". She always put this hanging tomato every summer. This summer, her tomato plant only bears one fruit unlike last year it beard more tomato and she gave some of the tomatoes to us.

Tag Time

I have been tagged by a lot of blogger friends some of them I find it hard to do, and it takes a long time to to them. Sowe! mga sis If I wasn't able to post the tag like the book tag. ~ How Old is Old?
Physically, Old is when you get wrinkled all over your face and body, can't execute the usual jobs that you used to do. Needs help from young people to carry you to your bed. Feeling helpless and vulnerable and even forget the name of your kids and grandkids.
~ Other aspects, old is when you stop dreaming about your dreams. Stop believing about yourself. Stop everything including the heart beat waaaaa dido, nada, rekemeter amen.
I Can't think of anything to say, I'm so exhausted taking care of my pooper babies, hubby is teaching overload. He gets home 7:00 in the evening or 9:00 sometimes. I think the right answer for this tag how old is old?is Me, I'm tired and old waaaaaa.

My Bundles of Joy, Looks and Activity

Introducing!!! Jake's new look. The other day we (hubby and I) decided to cut his hair to stop him from scratching his forehead and head. The day before that, Hubby took him to his Pediatrician because we were worried about this red swollen eye bugs and he always scratching behind his ears and all over his body too. Ohhh boy!, cutting Jake's hair was like we were killing a pig with all the screaming, squirming, crying and he even called us bad!bad!bad! We felt terrible doing it coz his hair was great and full but we had to do that to stop him from scratching his forehead and every where else in his body. It's very humid in our place right now and having clean cut might help from sweating.
Don't you dare calling me bald coz I'm not!!!tsk tsk hehehe
So...What do you think with my new look guys?
Here is Jake messing up with the TV. If he didn't have the TV remote in his hand he Would play with the TV or Cable buttons.

Justine is 2 weeks and 5 days old right now. She is growing in both length and weight. Her eyesight is still pretty fuzzy. Babies are born nearsighted and can see things best when they're about 8 to 15 inches away, so she can see our face clearly only when we are holding her close.

This picture was taken last Wednesday, when we went to hubby's school to show off Justine to his colleagues. Actually, one of his colleagues wanted to see baby Justine. I dressed her this cute summer outfit I got at child wardrobe and adults too store.
This is how my Justine sleep. At night, she wakes up once only to ask for milk instead of every two hours like what babies usually does. She is in fact a good sleeper hope it will stay like that so I won't have to get up at the middle of the night that often.
