Closing, Boo-boo and Cleaning

I got boo-boo

We closed the house on Friday then went to SR on Saturday. I let the lamb chop wear maryjane(shoes) without socks on so she got a blister. She did not complain about it though but she said she got a boo-boo. On our way to SR, she start fussing and said she got boo-boo but it's not the boo-boo in her feet. Anyway, she threw up in the car and that was the boo-boo she meant. A boo-boo in the tummy. Good thing we were already in MickeyDs and that was like few walks away to my MIL house.

Saturday, we start cleaning the house and finished the three bedroom in the second floor and the kitchen counter.

Living the American Dream

Buying a house is a big investment. It is not an easy decision to every home buyer upon deciding to invest on their dream house. Recognizing Letters

My 21 months old Justine had copied a lot from Jake which makes her more advance in some ways. Jake already knows his alphabet and every time he started reading the letters, Justine would follow him. There is a big different between boy and girl in terms of speaking and listening. Girls tend to listen when someone is talking and they also speak early than boys. Anyway, just this week we've been teaching Justine the alphabet. She is a fast learner and she can now recognize the the letters and some of word in each letter. There are a few that she cannot say out loud yet because it's a three syllable words and it is also a cluster words. But generally, she is doing great and she is more capable in a lot of ways.

Fun Walk and Playtime

How was your weekend everyone?

We finally got a good weekend break because the weather was fine and Mr. Sun was all smiles as well. We had a nice walk yesterday and these two did a great job to have walked that far.

Then Saturday we went to the playground and let J&J played to sawa. Right now it's raining again so we probably stuck inside for a while. Good thing they had wonderful time being outside on the weekend.

Mommy Moments; Mother's Day 2011

Mother's day is the topic again for this week Mommy Moments and i'm sad to say that we did not have a special one. We got up from bed just like the regular day, then sat in front of the computer and did nothing. He even forgot to greet happy mother's day until I reminded him. Then he called his mom and greeted her happy mothers day. I understand as he had so many things going on in his mind right now. Anyway, I was sort of upset and feeling depress during that day so Jake and I went to squirrel hill by foot.

It was a long walk but it was okay though and besides it's a good exercise especially if you feel so down. I bought this stuff; a stones and some postcards.

However, my Mother's day 2011 wasn't that bad after all because I have friends who made me feel special. They sent me cards. Thank you ladies. I still owe you hehe.

Car Please?

I know it’s too early but I’m excited that my eldest may go to school soon. We haven’t really decided yet but we’re considering it already, even if just for toddler school to develop his motor and social skills more than the academics.


I have even asked my husband if we can consider maybe getting a car for me. I searched online and checked the website http://www.wpbhyundai.com. Toddler Tantrums

The terrible two's arrived a little bit early. But she is cute when she throws tantrums because not as terrible as Jake.

If she throws tantrum, we will give her a hug and it'll be over that soon. She is darn cute when she start kicking and throwing because it's harmless and so girl-ish. She doesn't throw tantrum that much, it's only when she is hungry after getting up from her long nap.

My son is still in Terrible 3 and it's getting worst and now we have to deal with another terrible twos.

Signs and graphics

My kids slept early the other night so I had time to just flip the channels and watch whatever show. I came across an investigative show and was so caught up with it. No wonder shows like those run years and years and keep topping the charts!

One thing that caught my eye was when they were looking at the maps on board a ship. It was interesting that they kept flipping those acetate type things to add or deduct some detail into what they were trying to see on the map.

It was yesterday that I found out those are called overlays. I’ve seen those before when we were doing projects in college but didn’t register that they could also be used in large-scale operations like in the military. Even those patters with yellow orange and black Warning or Caution signs on drums for chemicals or at the ship’s doors are also called Graphic Overlays.

Also, it’s not just in the military that they’re used. Graphic overlays are also used for other commercial and industrial specific applications. Now, when I go out and see those signs, I know how they’re made and what it took to make them, thanks to google and to that TV show.

Mommy Moments - Preggy Tales

First of, I want to greet all the mommies out there a Happy Mother's day! Interesting topic we have this week for Mommy Moments. pregoromi momentos hehe.

Telling tales about our pregnancy is a very long story. Imagine 9 months having the bun in the oven, with nausea, morning sickness, hormonal change and so on and so forth. I bet lots of fights and bitchyness too. Other may be sweet but to me not so much. So many fights from adjustment, changes, discomfort and feeling miseries but guess what I still able to smile when the camera clicks hehe.

In this picture I was prego with Jake. It was a wonderful feeling being pregnant and feel the baby's kicking and moving. Despite all the pain, discomforts and more nothing beats with the feeling of pregnancy and motherhood. The moment we conceived the baby, motherhood begins.

It was part of our plan to get pregnant right away simply for the reason that we both getting old. We did not think of Jake's feeling, that he was still 17 month old when I was pregnant with Justine and he was a little over two years old when the stork delivered Justine to us. He took a swipe on Justine when he first saw her in the hospital as he did not care about the baby.

Pregnancy the second time around is easy to deliver but hard or painful to carry. I experienced asthma when I had Justine. My body was not 100% great from the first pregnancy then got preggers with Justine which was a little bit bigger that Jake. However, during deliver she came out in less than 15 minutes as i was 8cm dilated when we went to the hospital that morning.

How time flies by, my babies are now big boy and big girl.

Clean-up help!

Thanks to having 2 rowdy and rambunctious kids, I think it’s high time to hire a professional to clean my carpets. All my efforts are of no use anymore. I don’t mind the stains really, it’s the dirt and bacteria that my kids are exposed to are what bother me the most. My husband just fixed our vacuum cleaner because it doesn't absorb dust anymore. Believe it or not, I used broom the last time I cleaned the carpet and I'm telling you it wasn't easy. I definitely look online for a carpet cleaning services. I need help!

I was boiling water and while waiting for it to boils i also did some facebooking. When I heard the sound, I hurriedly ran to the kitchen, and Justine was so quick to take over the throne. This happened not ones but many times already. I have to be careful when I leave the computer open otherwise she's gonna change our computer password by randomly pressing the keys in the keyboard.
