Fall Festival, Halloween Party, Weekend & Shopping
October is all about fall and Halloween stuffs and it is soon to be over. Have you guys gone to a pumpkin patch yet? Anyway, the kids been having fun weekends these days.
Last Saturday, after soccer game we took the children to this Fall Festival in our neighborhood. It was a simple festival and the kids really enjoyed it a lot. There were games and activities such pinata, chair dance, hunted house, pumpkin painting, costume contest, spooky movie and also free pop corn and more. The lil man was wearing his Power Ranger costume while the lil Miss wore her Factory Princess costume. Sunday, we missed going to the FAAP because Justine had a fever.
Jake and the rest of the kindergarten in his school went to a pumpkin patch field trip last Friday. He came home from school with this cute pumpkin from their field trip. Then after class there was this Halloween party at school so we went to checked it out. It was alright but we had to leave early because Jake threw a fit when he saw his classmates wearing a costume. He wanted to wear his costume too but it was too late as no one would want to walk back home.
Instead, we bought a couple of pumpkins and headed home afterwards with a crying dragons. This weekend we went to visit their grandma in SR and as usual did some shopping at Dollar General which the kids call it grandma's store because the store is right behind her house. Those $1 stuffs and thingy at Dollar General is the thing I like shopping at this store. We bought some Halloween decorations, candies and toys for $1 each. The kids picked up couple of items that cost $2 and this Mello Creme Halloween is one of those. It still pretty much a good deal and it's a good stuff too.
How about you, how was your weekend so far?
