Finally the haircut that my lil owl had been wishing for came true. I gave her and Jake a haircut last Saturday after their disappointing soccer game. They both love their new short hair and new look.
Went to a party afterwards. The lil lady owl found a new friend and played duck duck goose and Simon says and a dance party of their own.
The weekend was really nice and warm. We also went to Costco last Sunday and spent all my moolah with the kids costume for Halloween.
Monday, after the kids got home from school, J & I decided to harvest the rest of the produce in our box garden.
These are all we harvested and I gave some of it to our Filipino Neighbor.
I made a dried fish escabeche with the first batch of tomatoes I harvested.
The last produce of okra I steamed it and dipped it with spiced natural coconut vinegar or sukang pinakurat. And also added some of the tomatoes to my Misua with sardines. Fresh produce taste really good and scrumptious. Come on over and have kurambus (potluck) party with mwah.
