uhmmm...Miss Dragon pinched Dragon Boy.
Pak!!! Dragon boy hit Miss Dragon's head.
Uhmmmmm ...Miss Dragon took a big pinch
Ouuuch...Dragon boy flinched.
Pak! uhmmm ...Dragon boy took a swipe and grabbed the hair.
Well, Miss dragon took a swipe back but did not captured by my camera.
Sooo Dragon boy pushed Miss Dragon and prrrrrrt here comes the referee.
This was a real fight and my son play along with it because he saw me taking picture. In their real fight, he sometimes don't hit back but won't stop pushing her sister either. They always fight. Jake has the tendency to be dominating, authoritative, bossy and no control. When he gets excited he tends to push her sister and said sorry. I discouraged him and told him not to do it because he is hurting his sister but he is still 3 years old and he select the part of the conversation he wants to listen and when they're in the middle of fun he doesn't care if he hurt his sister. I told Justine to fight back. I know it's bad but if I'm siding Justine all the time he might get jealous. He still have issues with sibling rivalry and always gets jealous of the things that Justine have. He is very protective of Justine but he is also mean to her. That is why the girl had learned to fight back and defend herself even if she always got defeated. Parenting is indeed difficult and hard. This is what Jake feeling and experiencing right now towards his lil sissy Justine. You might see in the picture that he is sweet with Justine, yes he is most of the time, but don't get fooled because sometimes when he gets jealous, this little girl always gets his slap, swipe and kick. And what is funny though, despite of all the slap, hit, kick, swipe and more Justine always smile at him and look at him with admiration.

What is sibling rivalry?

Sibling rivalry refers to the natural jealousy of children toward a new brother or sister. Older siblings can feel jealous when the baby arrives until they are 4 or 5 years old. Not surprisingly, most children prefer to be the only child at this age. Basically, they don't want to share your time and affection. The arrival of a new baby is especially stressful for the firstborn and for the siblings less than 3 years old. The jealousy arises because the older siblings sees the newcomer receiving all the attention, visitors, gifts, and special handling.
The most common symptoms of sibling rivalry is lots of demands for attention. For example, the older child wants to be held and carried, especially when the mother is busy with the newborn. Other symptoms include acting like a baby again, such as thumb sucking, wetting, or soiling. Aggressive behavior for example, handling the baby roughly can also occur. All of these symptoms are normal. While some can be prevented, the remainder can be improved within a few months.
