Couples Corner "I Do"

Rodliz’s Nest

It's time for RodLiz reality love story blog meme Couples Corner. I missed last week the proposal theme I'll just include it in this week theme "I DO"...

In those times that we were still exchanging emails, he slapped the I love yows number of times on emails. I got tired hearing it so I replied the 3 corny magic words back at him on July 22. So, that was it.... That was his proposal waaaaaa(shortcut huh?!) No rings, no blah blah blah. When Joe visited me, I thought he had the ring because he said he will have it when he visit me, but nope!Nada!Wa jamu! Poorz!...Since, that day was considered the proposal, so in other words we were engaged already. At first we planned to have the wedding in the Philippines if that would helped us get the Visa quickly, and we heard fiance visa is faster than spousal so the plan had changed.

Anyhow, after the first we met, that was when he visited me in Cebu City, Babger and I had countless of fights over the phone. The last fight before I flew here in US was about the wedding. He said, we could save money for the wedding if his friend will do the ceremony....(hmmm ang eye brows ibaba mga ining) I was shocked and confuse how can his friend able to do that??? I demanded for an explanation, so he said, "his friend is a minister as he just signed up online to be one, that is why he is allowed to marry us for free because they are friends" waaaaa(atimana mga bading parang mass wedding FREE hehehe). He abused my being so nice and agreeable, it sounds like a ripped off on my part. I think I deserved a decent wedding if it's not on the church at least something legal. I was super pissed, I turned off my cellphone and not answering all his calls.
To make the long story short, I got here on May 24th, bought a ring(engagement/wedding ring) only for me because we didn't have Sapi, and we got married on the 30th...fast forward as in automatic lol hehehe(namamadali bago mag iba ang isip) We had his friends as our witness and the magistrate office was just a block away from our apartment. So, we walked over there and got married in less than 30 mins. (Buti pa sa pinas may jeepney pang masasakyan atleast may kaunting thrill hehe)Pictures courtesy by his friend girlfriend because we didn't have camera then...poorz kasi pero in love toink!
......and we said "I DO" i do..yes I do... to this judge that we don't remember the name. And off to Rita's for our reception to avail the free coupon of gelatti, while his friends off went to their own place.(Parang wala lang, buti nalng hindi friends nya ang nagkasal sa amin)nyahaha whoa!lol. Alrighty guys, now visit the other couple corner and read some real, romantic, awesome, fabulous, solemn, all white wedding. ciao!

LOL, suddenly I feel like a bridezilla compared to you, haha! I told my husband if he didn't make our proposal romantic than I wasn't marrying him :p Then I had to plan our wedding for over a year. Now I know it's not the wedding that matters but the marriage. I could have avoided stress if I'd have done it like you :)

P.S. Thanks so much for the nice comment the other day about Cosmo. And, also Logan's video. I agree, I hope both of them are back to normal soon!

waha ha ha ha,kaaliw naman ang iyong "i do" story, nagmdali daw ba at baka mauntog sa magising sa katotohanan (LOL!)
Kami naman una gusto nya kahit simple ceremony, then he started calling a resto for a reception and then flower shop and all the other stuff, when we realized na it takes too much work, we decided to have it civil na lang, his bro and his wife is our witness, reception at Ruby Tuesday. and it was already 6 yrs ago. :D
